Cardiff Appoint New Manager

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer back in the Premiership and manager of Vincent Tan's Cardiff City.

Great to see this legend back in the Prem, top bloke! Wish him well and i hope he does do well, but he has a complete Mr Winklechops as a Chairman and it won't be easy.

Very odd choice to finally come to the Premier League, considering he was definitely offered the Aston Villa job and was rumoured to have been considered for most Premier League vacancies in the past year or so. Cardiff are not a very attractive prospect for managers.

Seems like a decent job to take for my money. He'll get funds, the squad is working hard as it is and people will blame the chairman even if he fails

great to see him back in the prem, and im sure on the 28th he'll get a great reception, sadly can only see cardiff going one way with that clown in charge and think its bit of a poisoned chalice. MM was doing aswell as possible with that team imo so its going to be tough for ole

Can't fathom why Ole has gone there. Surely he would have only needed to wait a bit longer before another vacancy at a PL club came up.

I mean, Cardiff must be the least desirable club to want to manage in the PL - clueless chairman and the fans are starting to revolt (can't say I blame them).

As for the actual appointment its a huge risk. Inexperienced manager, Molde weren't exactly romping to the Norweigen league year after year under him. Suspect his name has won him the job
