Cam can't step up in the big moments again. The front 7 underperformed today and he couldn't answer. Fair to ask if he's underwhelmed since going first?

So it's the 49ers @ Seahawks next week. Will it be the Patriots @ Broncos too? They have been the best four teams in the NFL this year and would be two great matchups.

That said, I have been saying for most of the week that I was expecting one shock result this weekend. Must be the next game then.

Crabtree back and Davis not being concussed was worth 14 points. 10-9 in the regular season to Panthers, 23-10 to 49ers today.

I think both the Panthers and the Saints found their level for the season this year. Don't think either were good enough to go further. I would expect the Panthers to keep getting better. They have some very good young players. Good defence just need more on their offence. The NFC South will be interesting next year. Saints should be strong again albeit a year older. The Buccaneers and Falcons could both do well to.

I think its more than fair. Third year QB, going first overall, he should be able to do more. Must look at what Luck is doing in Indy, with a talent level that's much lower than what they've got in Carolina.

Also think Cam's demeanour is a factor rightly or wrongly. He just looks to casual and really deflated before that comeback attempting drive.

I gotta admit I'm not his greatest fan, and I'm not a great fan of Carolina either. Think they're a pretty overrated team and they got taken to school by the 49ers

That was all a bit predictable this weekend then eh? You know it's bad when even I'm 4 out of 4 in predictions. Kind of a sign of where the NFL is just now - 4 very good teams and then a whole bunch of crap!

Next weekend should be different though..... no idea which way those games will go!

We all make mistakes. I didn't realise Flacco would be so good, nice to see he's returned to normal this year.

I honestly think San Fran will win by 10 plus points. They're the hottest team in the league right now, and Seattle never really put away New Orleans despite them stinking it up for the whole game. That Seattle offence sucks.

Somehow is a bit harsh on Foles. Passer rating of well over 100 and 27-2 TD/INT ratio. If you Eagles don't want him, send him to Oakland.

Foles threw a lot of lucky passes this year from what I saw, some of his TD's really should've been INT's from the top of my head the Jackson TD in Green Bay being a prime example.

I'd put him in the 15-20 range with Dalton

I don't doubt what you're saying, I don't see Foles as much as you do. From the stats alone his season looks impressive and the way the media seems to talk they've anointed him as the starter there for the foreseeable. I was just wondering why he's viewed slightly negatively.

We should probably take away the 7 he threw against Oakland though. They don't count.

When DeSean Jackson is turning defender on a sure fire pick, you've got some luck on your side.

Obviously 27-2 ratio makes him untouchable this offseason, but the rookie cap works in the Eagles favor as they can't pay him this offseason. Not saying he can't be the guy but I need to see more.

That Oakland game he had like 4 TDs from DJ Hayden falling on his butt alone.

I just looked at the teams he started against and in truth it doesn't read like a roll call of great defenses...

Tampa
Dallas
Oakland
Green Bay
Washington
Arizona
Detroit
Minnesota
Chicago
Dallas

Outside of Arizona and maybe Detroit and Tampa he's faced some pretty soft defenses.

Foles was playing like that in the 2012 preseason and should have been the start for the past two years.

I think it is too early to judge him properly though. He hasn't had an offseason/ preseason knowing he is the starter. He has only started 16 games. Just about every QB looks shakey in their first 16 games but very little have anywhere near the stats Foles has had.

I doubt Peyton would still be a starter now if social media was around this much in the early 90s. A less than average first season and he lost his first three playoff games.

Young QBs don't get much chance these days.

So there I am, enjoying the offseason and a bit of peace quiet from the RG3 feeding frenzy..... and then this happens:-

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000312766/article/rgiii-defends-himself-on-facebook

And then RG3 does this:-

http://www.csnwashington.com/football-washington-redskins/talk/rg-reacts-facebook-post-reaction-twitter

I'm all for a guy defending himself but after the season we've just had, why not just let a few things slide and use it as motivation to come back stronger next year?? Sort of makes me yearn a bit for the quiet and boring days of Mark Brunell and his sub-100 yard passing games...... sigh.
