I dont know who LRF is mate. Never been in a league with him.
Injuries are done
Is anyone fussed with lawyers seeing as this is the last week & only two teams have something to play for?

Right, I'm "working" from home today.
So who's up for a game of mafia today?
As FootballLight or LRF, I have no problem with him being in the league. Hero also knows full well who it is and hasn't seen any need to ban anyone, so I don't see the need for the charade.

Fan what trouble does he cause? I can't say nothing about him as I've never been in a league with him.
Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXII
he has tried about 12 different leagues
I helped him out on one, prob his first and he was changing results to suit himself so I wouldnt be top of the league lol
he constantly argues with people
he constantly falls out with them
his rules or no rules
speaks down to people
he will try and take over
erm....am thinking

The way it worked last time was that you got a budget (think it was £120m, but don't quote me on that). You then bid for any team you wanted, with the only two restriction being that they can't be valued over £100m in total on TM website and the max budget you could have left over was £50m (you could buy a team for £20m, but you didn't then get £100m for player drafts). Then that remaining budget was used on a player draft to top your team up.

I think buying a team is the way to go but with a lower overall budget than £120m. Something like £75m.

Hold fire. We have 1 more week of this league to finish off first.
And that was just what we did last time. Budgets and limits may be different this time around

We all PM a list of players who we want to a person (think afro handled it last year) with the value we wish to pay for them.Holymiky wrote:How did the player drafts work?
So, say I bid £2.5m for Andy Carroll & Soddy big £2.8m for him Soddy would win Andy Carroll.

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXII
Previously we had £100million to build a squad from scratch which is the system I would like to return to (plus money for star players)
This time around it was £100million for an existing squad then £25 million on top for whatever you wanted

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXII
I prefer buying a team, having the money left & using that to build.
Think we did that to encorage deals as everyone wont start with the squad they want. You have to make improvements to the club you bought

When we did just buying players, domestics were limited as people had a lot of the players they wanted. Buying the club meant there were lots that you didn't want and deals happened

Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXII
think buying a club is the way to go myself then spend the remaining amount..
doing it that way is there a need for drafts? surely first come first served
1/2 per day for one week

Thanks, but as I'm only on mobile and on a short lunch break, I don't have the time it'll take to forward all the PM's.
Will do it this evening. Also as I mentioned on the other page, I can no longer run things in the new season due to work restructuring and giving me more work. Nor will I be taking a team as its gonna be a busy February. Although when it settles down and CF quits ( ) I'll take over a team.

You know what really annoys me, when you ask someone to name their top 3 players ever and they put Zidane in there but I can bet my life on it that most of the people who claim Zidane to be the greatest have not watched him more then 5 times.
Iniesta > Zidane
Iniesta > Zidane
Re: Euro Division Homepage LXXII
Raul is one of the most intelligent strikers I've ever seen but I don't think I can rank him in my top 3.
