Lille 1-1 Athletic Ballbag
(Remy) (Negredo)

Votes: 2-1 (Pedro, Sanchez) (Negredo), 0-1 (Negredo), 1-1 (Remy) (Negredo), 1-2, 3-1, 1-1 (Remy) (Koke), 1-2 (Januzaj) (Negredo x2) = 9-9 divided by 7 voters and rounded down = 1-1

Lille feedback:
Great setup and system, Pedro targetting Cole was a good move. A lot of emphasis on it being a big game and I feel your players did the job. Sanchez had a lot of joy at AM/SS.
bad points - unfortunate keeper injury, and need to have a better option out wide than wellbeck
Good - like sanchez in a free role
Lille GP: Pedro, Sanchez are brilliant players who can open any team in a moment
Lille BP: Losing Toure is a massive blow probbaly best player in the league

Ballbag feedback:
Matched Lille player for player but I feel you didn't do enough to stop Lille, just seemed like generic instructions. For such a big game, this was a shame.
good - very strong side overall
bad - could perhaps do better in the wing positions
Ballbag GP: Showed today why they are the best side in the league good team allround
Ballbag BP: Cole would be the weakness the team needs to improve on

Both teams feedback:
Great game with both teams setting up strong, but Lille were going for the win and Ballbag to not lose, Lille had the initiative and earned the win IMO.
This is a huge match and i can see it starting with Athletic Ballbag having a lot of the possession due to their plan to move the ball around quickly but not a lot getting through the defence of Lille. The second half contained more chances and more attacks from both teams with goals from Remy and Negredo. Both teams have extremely strong lineups and are both quite evenly matched and i think that this match will end in a draw.
The two best teams in the league by far and it shows today. So difficult to separate them but the addition if Negredo to Ballbag just does it.
The big showdown between the leagues top 2 teams didn't dissapoint, sadly for Lille it was in midfield were the game was lost. Sahin and Xavi not strong enough to deal with Alonso and Khedira meaning they couldn't get the ball out to the attackers as quickly as they wanted. The Ballbag defence is much stronger and able to deal with Lille but not the same for Evans and Jones who couldn't keep Negredo from scoring. It was near the end where Lille went for it and got the goal but it was too little too late

-------------------

WHYDYTYA 0-1 Southampton
(Tello)

Votes: 1-2, 0-1 (Tello), 0-1 (Lukaku), 0-0, 0-2, 1-1 (Mandzukic) (Verratti), 1-0 (Lallana) = 3-7, divided by 7 voters and rounded down = 0-1

WHU feedback:
Really Maggio in that role and seems the ideal player for it, so with him and Kolarov, you have the perfect WBs. However, I don’t think this formation is great for getting the best out of Mandzukic and therefore you struggle for goals
good - Mandy an excelent striker and fantastic midfield 3
bad - wimg baks left the back 3 exposed when they were caught out going forward
FC GP: Midfield trio different goals but all come together to work nicely as a unit
FC BP: Still not convinced with defenders a top name needs to be bought in

Southampton feedback:
I think kaka is a decent signing and with him alongside Deulofeu and Tello, there is plenty of creativity which Lukaku thrives on. Not sure about Santon and I prefer Ivanovic at CB, so would look to improve at full back
good - got good rewards from exploiting the 2 on 1s out wide
bad - luisao and adrian need to be improved on
Saints GP: A very good side top 3 in this league for me
Saints BP: Came up against a very organised side maybe bring in a new winger

Both teams feedback:
FC WHYDYTYA will be strong in this game and i see them having a very good game against a strong Southampton team. I like seeing Lallana in the number 10 type role behind Mandzukic for FC WHYDYTYA. I feel that Southampton will get the win here and get the goal from Lukaku from a pass through the defensive line of FC WHYDYTYA by Kaka. The tactics given to Kaka suit him in my opinion and i like him in the position behind Lukaku and i also think that this will allow him to control the attacks.
Certainly not a boring 0-0 here, this was a good game with two teams really going for it, the midfields match up well, with West Ham if anyone having an edge, but Southampton cancel out Mandzukic and the full backs so I can't see them scoring. However, West Ham are set up well defensively to counter Lukaku and the wingers so a goalless draw a fair result, but I'm not giving this score to say it's a boring game.
FC did homework in their opponenets and with Lallana playing in the freerole caused problems for the Southampton defence who struggled to pick him up. Both strikers were tied up well by CB's. Kaka was a gamble which didn't pay off today and the midfield trio off FC worked nicely.

---------------

Borussia Monchengladbach 2-0 PSV
(Benteke, Adebayor)

Votes: 2-2 (Adebayor, Benteke) (Agbonlahor, Finnbogason), 2-0, 2-0 (Sam, Son), 1-1, 4-2, 2-0 (Benteke, Son), 1-0 (Adebayor) = 14-5, divided by 7 voters and rounded down = 2-0

Monchengladbach feedback:
Love the powerful front two, on form awesome, but both inconsistent. Played well today though. Good support from the midfield.
best back four in the league bar none. The front two would leave the opposition defence battered and bruised, but I see your wingers as the type that like to come inside and not ones who will get crosses in, which your front two need
good - absolute wall of a back 4
bad - but they can only protect the keeper so much
Borussia GP: Very good wingers and FB which is the main source of attack
Borussia BP: Change one striker that formation needs a small nippy striker

PSV feedback:
Nice setup, a lot of pace out wide especially with Shaw overlapping. Plenty of chances created today.
Ogbonna provides real presence, whilst the AM trio are all very creative. However, I think that they offer very little in terms of defence and I can see you being overrun
good - shaw a very good buy
bad - lack that little bit of quality really needed in the front 4
PSV GP: Pace galore in the attack but not enough guile to open teams up in a passing sense
PSV BP: I would have liked Paulinho to get further and use his high energy game

Both teams feedback:
Hard to separate the two sides, both set up well and went for the win, cancelled each other out in the middle of the park but both attacks created chances so a score draw.
Two sides cancel each other out, monchen don't have enough out wide. Psv not enough firepower
An exciting game here with both teams really going for it, I prefer Guarin in a box to box role rather than in attacking midfield, and attacking Monchengladbach look excellent. They could do with a goalkeeper though. PSV are improving their side but they need to get an attacking midfielder and a striker, and they also need to do a little more scouting on the opposition for me. A good game nonetheless, won by Monchengladbach.
A lot of pace in the PSV side but Borussia countered well with two sitting midfielders allowing 4 to get forward, Paulinho shackled sitting back and couldn't show his physical presence further up the pitch. The widemen of the Borussia gave there team the advantage in getting balls in for the forwards.

(Sturridge x2)

Votes: 2-3 (Eriksen, Lasogga) (Sturridge x2, Rodriguez), 1-1, 0-2 (Sturridge x2), 0-2, 2-1, 1-3, 0-2 (Pjanic, Sturridge) = 6-14, divided by 7 voters and rounded down = 0-2

Ajax feedback:
Same system as last week, very fluid but frankly it makes the side look fragile and very susceptable to the counter attack.
The formation is difficult to understand and if you are going to make it work, I think you really need to keep hammering it home. Player wise. I like Clasie and Can together, but as ever, you need more leaders in there.
Ajax GP: Fan has got a good side here and has styled them into his style
Ajax BP: Don't think this is a good formation and maybe play something more conventional

Fool Em feedback:
Good improvement in defence with Miranda, nicely balanced side throughout although a lot of Ajax players attacking causes your full backs problems.
I think playing Pjanic behind the striker is the right move, and him combined with Sturridge would be lethal. Not sure Mulumbu and Volland are the same class as the others and the full backs look like a place to improve
Fool GP: Signing of Miranada has strengthened the defence massively
Fool BP: Would like to see improvement in wingers

Both teams feedback:
Plenty of goals at each end with Fool Em nicking the win with their better balance and shape.
I think that this will be another good match and both teams will see a fair amount of the ball as they both have players capable of keeping the ball and passing it around. Ajax have a quality attacking force but the defence of FoolEm FC will be strong enough to defend everything. The first half is mainly made up of close chances for both teams until the second half when Sturridge manages to score 2 goals to win the match.
I appreciate what Ajax are trying to do but at the end of the day the firepower of fool is just too much
Ajax have set up superbly, they have really got something right here, with the Fool Em wingers being inverted that plays right into Ajax's hands, they have clearly put some time in on this. Fool Em look weak at full back and I can see the Ajax wingers running riot against them, I'm also more of a fan of Ramsey higher up the pitch than he is used. Ajax win.
Don't think this formation off Ajax worked well, Foolem took advantage of this and got the win in a standard victory. Two hardworking midfielders stiffled Ajax attack, Eriksen had a lot of work to do in this style and would have been better to give him a more free role.

Basel 2-0 ZwagAtletico
(Villa, Reus)

Votes: 2-0 (Villa, Reus), 2-2, 1-1 (Reus) (Ibrahimovic), 1-0 (Villa), 2-0, 3-1, 2-1, 0-1 (Ibrahimovic) = 13-6, divided by 8 voters and rounded down = 1-0
+1 to Basel for no votes from Zwag

Basel feedback:
Same system as Zwag with arguably a stronger midfield, I fear Zlatan would have torn your CB's a new arse but luckily he wasn't at all supported by his teammates.
didn’t agree with the negatives and felt that you sent your team out not showing their opposition the respect due and it nearly back fired as they were complacent. Reus is a brilliant signing, but then for £30m he should be. Defence is too laboured and need a bit more energy in there
good - fantastic spine of the team
bad - a little concerned over the full backs, especially maxwell
Tactics are of high quality and you all should be proud of them except Viva. He sucks.

Zwag feedback:
Not enough instructions to award you a result, shame although "give it to Zlatan" is actually good advice to give to the likes of Gouffran and Johnson!
Building your team around Zlatan is defeinately the right move although, instruction could be a bit more comprehensive. You could have taken the win, but you are clearly on your summer holidays already. It’s a good job that the opposition were poorly instructed too
good - zlatan
bad - overreliant on him, not much coming from elsewhere other than cabaye

Both teams feedback:
Good match based on players alone, but Basel earned the win with superior instructions and Zwag underperformed as a result. Zlatan karate-kicked a water bottle into the dugout at the final whistle to show his disapproval of the manager.
Even though FC Zwag Atletico have set up well defensively i feel that FC Basel will win this game when Pirlo manages to play a pass through the strong defence of FC Zwag Atletico into the feet of Villa who finishes nicely and wins the match for FC Basel.
Simple really that ZWAG tactics are just not strong enough, pity as it could have been very close
I can't really see Zwag getting anywhere today, they have lost out to a more determined Basel side who have come on leaps and bound under Viva, he has done some good scouting, and gets the win he deserves.

Well, that's cost me any hope of winning the league i think. Good game.

I know my midfield was a little lightweight this week, but i don't think Alonso, Khedira and Isco are these big scary monsters either.

It isn't my fault if you don't want to let go and act like babies over a Euro Division game. Fan and Tranquil Btw. Just don't speak to me, you can avoid me.

it would be easier to avoid you if you didnt create new aliases every week, so dont try to take the moral high ground, ive heard that fresh start Love sacks a couple of times now and it ends up with you rehashing old gripes you have

Different site, different member and a different me. That's how I'm going to call it. But, do as you please. Don't join. I want to join, if these fine chaps + Hero let me take on this challenge I proposed yesterday, so be it, I'll join, you 2 go and do what you like. I'm not going to feel sorry for you about it. It's only a Sports Gaming league, jeez! You don't always need to get so upbeat about it, 'don't let him in' or 'I won't join if he does'. Just enjoy it! I'm trying my very best here to say it will work if we are all in the league, we just don't have to speak in a frustrated manner. But, you do as you please.

So, just to clarify, am I allowed to join the league?

If you joining is at the expense of the likes of Fan, Tranqs or anyone else not wishing to be a part of it then I don't like your odds.

To be honest, they do spend most of their time on Ja anyway themselves if I'm honest. I'm going to be committed. I won't mess around. I won't be a ====. Honestly, if they don't want to join, I can't change that, but I'm definitely not going to do something that will annoy them. If you don't believe me, try me.

FootballLight I have a few questions you need to answer.

Are you a sweetie man or a lotion boy?
Pepsi or coke?
Ps4 or xbox 1?
God or the devil?
Drugs or alcohol?
Burnt to death or drown?
Android or apple?
Moustache or clean shave?

You must pick one of the choices.
