Great game as you say, although I was rooting for the Wolves. But in my heart of hearts I know that Wigan were the better side and, in light of how badly under the cosh they were in the first half, Warrington did a good job just keeping it such a close, competitive match on the whole.

Should be a great final. Suspect Wigan will edge the Saints out.

And the 2014 champions are

Who beat Wigan 14-6, by doing what they''ve done most of the season in gritting it out, and somehow getting the result. In what was a very average GF in my opinion, that will long be remembered for Ben Flower's stupid disgusting act (the 2nd punch), more than anything else
His subsequent 13 game ban is right in my opinion.

So well done to Saints, a deserved champions.

Going back to a 12 team competition will result in a very close and exciting 2015 season
