What an 18th birthday present that was!
You should send Anthony taylor a thank you card it is only right when you receive a gift that you send a thank you card. 2 penalties in one game Arsenal haven't been awarded two penalties all season, must be nice. Apparently, in 20 matches no Gunner has been fouled in the box.

Last time I tried to send a ref a thank-you card, it was just after the 2006 Champions League final!

Very funny, lets enjoy the game, hopefully they start bringing in foreign officials into the EPL, the foreign players have improved the league immensely maybe that is the answer to woeful state of officiating. I would volunteer my services.

Yeah keep telling yourself that funny they relegated the official after the match and it was the same buffoon who gave Sterling his penalty yesterday the FA rewarding incompetence again but that is what they are good at.
Every team gets bad decisions.

Giroud has already missed a chance he should have scored. Which means 3 more misses then he get's his goal tonight!

Looking ominous already West but all that matters is that score in the top left corner. All about getting to half time 0-0 so your not chasing the game, that's when I feel Arsenal will put 2/3 past you. Not ideal losing your cb this early on either. Hopefully Baker is ok, I believe its Baker???

Villa are embarrassing. This side did the same thing vs United. Shocking. Villa allowed Cleverley to score n now allowing Giroud to do that. Good luck Lambert.

finally Arsenal show a ruthless streak. Jack and Olly G took their goals well. For all the slagging Giroud gets he is having a pretty good season.

Always going to be a tough night for Villa, but you shouldn't be that sloppy after conceding the first. 17 seconds? pretty poor. Lambert needs to balance going for it in the second half with goal difference. No good losing 4/5-0 when its as tight at the bottom as it is. He'll probably shut up shop till the 75th minute then go for it.

Yeah, Giroud did well but its ridiculous how many chances he gets. If he was a great finisher he`d be challenging Suarez now.

Monreal has played well nice assist to Jacky boy and Gnabry looks very good as well one positive coming out of Theo's injury is Serge gets a run of play.

I do agree that he is a bit wasteful but he is a very good passer and his link up play has been great this year he creates a lot of chances for the midfielders.

There aren't too many Suarez type players in the world wish we had him or Negredo or Aguero. But lets hope Arsene unlocks those infamously tight purse strings again.

Ah right, too casual a pass and sums up Arsenal's 2nd half performance as socal said. 2-0 is always a dangerous scoreline. Still fancy Arsenal to see it out.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'x'
Really poor performance from Arsenal in the second half, credit to Villa played well in the second half and scored a nice goal. Wilshere played exceptionally well a goal and assisted Giroud second goal. We are missing Ramsey though. Cazorla and Ozil didn't have the best game. Maybe people will stop slagging Jack and calling him overrated. He scored a goal, made a goal, and put in quite a few fierce challenges as well.

Same old fkng sh1t.
Lack of concentration cost us the game. Poor defending.
Played well when Tekkers scored, but why not start like that.
No good chasing a game against a team like Arsenal.
Fk that.
Sign someone Lambert ASAP.
Off to Anfield we go.
Now that Tekkers has finally score he can find the net on saturday like he did last season.

Villa should be fine this season, they aren't going to be relegated. I think West ham, Cardiff, and Palace will go down. Sunderland playing much better of late. Fulham always seem to manage to do just enough not to be relegated.

Arsenal might have a chance to pull away in the next few games, looking at the fixture list.

Yes a proper league were a number of teams can win it. I love how bunched up it is at the top. Even Spurs and United aren't out of the title chase eventhough I can't see either of them doing it though.
