I don't & if Lumbering Jack was on here, he'd be shouting his mouth off again about how 'negative' I was. We won't make a run for 4th, we don't have the squad or the consistency. I think people will agree entirely with those comments & that they are completely realistic. Great win today though & just emphasises how important Cabaye is to the club.

Cardiff did 2 goals better than I expected today

Hoping Villa pull off a result here somehow despite my FF team having 2 scousers in it.

Arsenal have genuinely shocked me that they've been this consistent this season, especially after many wrote them off after their opening day hammering

While Liverpool don't deserve to be level in this game the ref hasn't been great so far, Clarks off the ball kick on Suarez went unpunished, Suarez them got an elbow the head which again went unpunished and the referee didn't stop the play for a head injury which I thought they had to now?

Poor from Liverpool for the goal as well, Skrtel really should be putting that behind and Gerrard allowed the scorer to get in front of him unchallenged.

Villa good value for their lead though.

I would also add that every player in the Premier League would go down in that situation because a penalty is given 99% of the time for them.

Now Freek, Liverpool are always the victims. Particularly when it concerns Luis Suarez - he's the biggest victim of them all. Poor lad.

ah but neither did I moan when Hazard got denied a pretty clear penalty against Swansea (I think?).Yet for weeks we've had Liverpool fans going on about how Suarez is unfairly treated because of past mis-demeanours. Today showed he hasn't changed all that much IMO, it's a poor dive and he's conned the ref into giving him an undeserved penalty. Would be nice to see Liverpool fans admit that, but hey ho Whistle

(for the record, and since someone will bring it up, Ramirez's dive to rob West Brom was just as bad).

pretty sure people were laying into him for that, exactly the same (except that Oscar got caught by the ref, so you'd actually expect less vitriol given he didn't cheat Southampton out of a goal).

Actually thinking about it. The Oscar dive against Southampton was shocking, he had a clear goal scoring chance and instead tried to get the keeper sent off that was very very poor, not quite the same situation as Suarez but still bad.

As you say Hampo "Anyone Would Go Down There" It was stupid by Sturridge to do that. Luckily he didn't connect properly otherwise he'd have been in big trouble.

I agree it was stupid, had he been sent off for that it is the type of decision that could easily have been overturned on appeal though.

Game of two halves really, Aston Villa superb in the first half but we had the better of the second. I said earlier that the referee was having a shocker and I still haven't changed my mind.
