Why was the ref having a shocker Hampo not sure what your on about tbh. If you are on about Bacuna on Suarez that's not a foul at all Suarez made no attempt to jump for the ball just put himself in the way as we keep being told can't jump with out using your elbows. The one where Suarez got kneed in the back of the leg was.

Would have taken a point at the start.
DIssapointed not to get 3.
Knew we wouldn't at half time.
Could have been different if Gabby had stayed on.
If only he had put that effort away early on.
If we play like that for the rest of season we will be more than fine. IF
won £224 on my coupon earlier( thanks Derby, Boro, Notts Cnty Oxford), so all in all not a bad day.

Suarez going down after an elbow to the head and the ref not stopping the game despite the obvious head injury, the penalty, ref had a poor game IMO for both sides mate.

I think Liverpool need to improve the defense if we want to seriously challenge the big boys. We are conceding far too many goals and generally looking vunerable at the back. There is no way that Cissohko (spelling?) is good enough to play for a team with Champions League ambitions.

If it makes you feel better Rosicky had his nose broken vs Villa on Monday and the ref never stopped play then.

I thought they had to stop play if it was an injury to the head for safety reasons?

What Pulis does is organize the defense and make sure everyone knows their role and who to mark etc.
That being said if i could hang someone upside down for 3 hours to use as a punch bag he'd be in my top 5
1) Rooney
2) Pulis
3) Shawcross
4) Steven Taylor
5) Adebayor

Wasn't exactly a great performance from Mignolet. Flaps at crosses & generally has a mistake in him every game. Agree, Liverpool can't be taken seriously in terms of challenging, until they have a quality, settled backline like Arsenal have this season.

Easier said then done, but he could have maybe pulled his arms away.
Scuba would have still gone down.

Glad people are seeing how good Arsenal's defence is. I have been saying we have a quality defence the whole of this season

For me, the Team of the Year back line is Szczęsny, Baines, Koscielny, Mertesacker & Coleman.
Says everything about Arsenal's season. They won't blow teams away with goals, however, keeping clean sheets will take you a long way towards achieving a title.

Grant Holt and Aaron Wilbraham both playing in the Prem today. Glorious glorious times.
As for us, very very Meh. Jelavic missed an absolute sitter in the second minute, then for some bizarre reason Hull just sat back. Second half drifted till the 8pth minute when we seemed to realise hey this lot are pants, and then scored from a set piece.
Dolph is right, hughton seems to win these must win games, I'd just rather it didn't come down to them. Still not the right man for me
Also anybody saying Huddlestone is a good player go back and watch that match in which he got pretty much done by Bradley Johnson. He's too slow, just waddles around the pitch

That is a good list but I might substitute Mourhino in there somewhere.

Outside of one game at City this season Arsenal's back line has been excellent. I wouldn't trade Per or Kos for any other pairing out their in the league. And Szczesny has been fantastic. Arsenal also have 4 quality fullbacks, it seems like Monreal may be knocking Gibbs out of his position as he gives the team a little bit more flair moving forward. Sagna has been a rock this year of the 4 Jenkinson is still a little raw.

I know he's pretty woeful at crosses but we've even seen weak hands from him this season, when shot-stopping. A number of mistakes that have cost Liverpool a few points & could come back to haunt them come May. What's the deal with Reina? I mean, he could come back couldn't he, if Napoli or Barcelona don't sign him long term in the summer. For me, I'd have Reina over Mignolet every day of the week.
As for WHU, shocking in that first half weren't they. Cabaye was looking world class at times, be amazed if there is no bid from a club in the final week of this window. As for Carlton Cole, he is just a sh*t Ameobi.

Terrible to watch but hugely effective from Pulis. Works within the limitations of the squad & maximizes performance. Credit. As for Stoke, initially things looked like they were progressing to be more pleasing on the eye, however, I don't really see much change in terms of quality or entertainment.

Meant to be third or fourth choice but owners failing and Carroll injury forces him to be too regular. Still, works two defenders and scores a few goals a year. His performance won us the playoff final and some really tight games when we were down. Technique just so ludicrously inconsistent. Love him, but we know there's problems when he starts in the Prem

Been wondering... if Utd fail to qualify for Champions League next season, can they afford to drop Moyes? A champions league spot is worth plus £30m if you get past group stages. Surely United can't lose that windfall and still pay off Moyes' remaining five years, £25m? Seems like he'll stay on one way or another, I'd say.

Adebayor's resurgence is a pretty damning piece of evidence against AVB's man management. Hard to think he had training with the kids, yet Soldado playing week in week out

I don't see how tbh Olly, The times he did play him he was a liability to Spurs, Put no effort in and couldn't hit a barn door. You have to consider that 3 managers now have tried to remove him from the club so there is a clearly an issue somewhere and it's not the manager.

I liked how Sherwood came across in last weeks Football Focus interview. Seems a straight up fella.
I wonder if Swansea are going to get sucked into the relegation battle? If they're not already.
