The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome all to the new pub. Hopefully the traditions from the last 606 will continue here in our new home. The only new rule I have really is, see that Tommy Bowe signed picture there above the bar? If anyone defaces that, they're barred. There'll be banter, indepth discussion, some rambling but above all mutual respect as always. It all looks very swish, but we still serve traditional beverages and food. So what'll it be?
Oh if you have any complaints by the way, don't look at me - speak to rugbydreamer cause she's a mod!
Now to fire up the jukebox...

Cari I did my Gold DOE Award on bike for 4 days in your country. Never realised Wales was so hilly till we got there. Being on a saddle for 4 days suffices to say we were numb for a while afterwards. We also went through that town you mentioned earlier, numerous amounts of banter with the locals asking where exactly we where.

Rava, if you want to have my ticket you can. I'm not going to use it. It isn't free though, but it will mean you're sat with Penfro etc. I am going to the Risca Presentation Evening now by the looks.
I just bought tickets for Wales v Baabaa's. More good news for me is that my Ben Castle shirt has arrived.
I had a complaint against me today off one of the guys on my trip I've just done. Flip.

Risca - that's a bummer about the complaint. Has he just had a moan to someone or issued a proper grievance? Hopefully it's not serious.
Enjoy the presentation. Are you going to wear the Castle shirt or get it framed?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I'll wear the Castle shirt on Saturday, then I'll frame it I think.
The complaint is being ignored pretty much. Basically from landing back at the one place (in the UK) and heading back to my place, the guy has gone into his work and complained to his superior that I didn't talk to him all task and basically ignored him (which reflects badly on me even though it's petty). I told his line manager that I did talk to him and I even took him to the bar, showed him where he can eat and even lent the scruff my shower gel after he forgot a wash kit and towel. So I expect nothing will come of it, but I'm very annoyed that I've gone out of my way to help him and he's done that. The guy was a pretty old man too, so he can't even be accused of being childish
Cheers Hound.

Phew, just undertaken my orientation exercise. Took a while! Had a quick look at the off topic section. A very good idea, I like it. Put my 2p worth in the 'If you could have any car...' My petrol head is happy. Lottery numbers coming in purleeeeeease!!
Risca, really sounds like something o' nothing, hopefully the powers that be will see it the same way

If so I still have a spare for the Amlin, and its yours if you want it. You can sometimes never have enough tickets and I got a spare in case anyone fancied going on a whim. You'll be be sitting with me and my fellow Wasp, Andy. Quite a few regs have met him.
Hound, only got to see this now. Thanks for the offer but I don't get in until Sat morning. See you at the buffet!

Evening all.
Cari. If you going Amlin affects the sleeping bags then it's no worries.
Just back from a swim there. Rava don't forget I'll be on lettuce as well.
Glad the complaint is nothing too serious REv
Also folks. I will not be getting sick this weekend FYI.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
So are you already going to the Amlin micky?
If there are more than two people sitting together, why doesn't one of you just move to sit with Cari?
Cari, I've been to loads of games on my own. Nobody cares! You'll still have a good time and you can meet up with all of the other regs at the game right after.

No probs Cari. We'll sort it all out on Friday, depending on who wants to go, and who wants to sit with who, if there are any other takers. I have 3 freebies in all; one donated by me for the benefit of a pub reg. 3 together and another 2 together.
Nos da peeps.
Where's that <sleepy> when you need it?

Delightful being able to post this time. The bank had overcharged me in recent years by the looks of it and owed me back 253 euro. Happy out with that before a weekend

Hello pub! I've been on here a bit. Don't tell Hobo, but the critical mass of posters has not been reached on the outside yet, meaning that debates were a bit sterile and seemingly in slowmo. Kumquat. Muppet. . As I got here early I got to use :spank: as well before it was sent to smiley heaven (or hell). Dick head cum. However this seems to be the natural home of tge pub and the off topic threads are a new Random Factor. Most importantly Cari, you've just given this place soul. Flip well done!

I know the conversations were slow - hopefully they will pick up soon.
Its an egg and chicken thing - no one posts because no one else does.
Think got a lot better yesterday.
But we need more - tell others. Tell 'em all! Tell 'em about how nice it is and that we have only only signed you up to one prawn site so far.
The more you can convince to come over, the better the chat.

Aye Hobo that's what I meant by critical mass. If you can't do it in the next seven days you'll struggle.

True but I didnt go to sleep, so its still night time or something! Leave me alone and get me a Singapore Sling.
On the member front guys, you really need to try and help where you can - we are starting to get people join from Twitter, so I hope that continues.
What we need is for the 606ers to come over but unfortunately some have been swayed by ja606 which looks like 606 but has nothing else to offer. Do your best peeps - and continue to comment on the articles in here - thats what will attract people - good debate!

Morning all. My first tentative step into the new gaff. Not bad, not bad, but hope someone took my tankard from the last place, as Kelly Jones sang "the beer don't taste the same without my name painted on my glass!"
Just watching total rugby on Sky, nice piece about Mike Gibson on there, no clips though, was hoping to see him in his pomp.
Anyone see this?

The second coming is happening on Saturday according to these folks, just hope it happens after the match or BOD will be double jobbing!

It doesn't neccessarily have to be good as long as it's a mass debate.
