The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome all to the new pub. Hopefully the traditions from the last 606 will continue here in our new home. The only new rule I have really is, see that Tommy Bowe signed picture there above the bar? If anyone defaces that, they're barred. There'll be banter, indepth discussion, some rambling but above all mutual respect as always. It all looks very swish, but we still serve traditional beverages and food. So what'll it be?
Oh if you have any complaints by the way, don't look at me - speak to rugbydreamer cause she's a mod!
Now to fire up the jukebox...

I know we've got an italian u20 prop and a guy from London Irish. Rumour has it that we are looking at a sh prop who can play both sides, fingers crossed for Crockett or Somerville!

I should point out to Mickado, that I do wrech when I brush my teeth and sometimes in the morning anyway so I would like to put in a caveat to state that that doesn't count.

I am not sure why that posted my morning post again.. oops..
AS, is it ruining it if I have mine with Coke I love morning drinking. i love train drinking more.
Prop, the chuck about sounds good to me. I will bring my own shorts though for the husky side of me
I think AS is trying to get us drunk to make this tent pitching more interesting thne it needs to be.

As can try!! But we all know that sleeping under the stars next to a tent which somehow caught fire is every man's dream and it attracts the ladies!!
That reminds me I best warn the neighbours....

Just watching the boxing press conference. The Welsh guy Nathan Cleverley and the Scouser Tony Bellew's part of it is pretty funny. They nearly went at it and Bellew was saying to him in his pure scouse accent lets do this now, you f***ing rat. Hilarious stuff.
Glad I'm not on that choo choo if there's whisk(e)y being passed about.

I do think that Micky, but it was just funny hearing it said in Bellew's scouse accent. They have to hype Cleverley's fight more now due to the late withdrawal of his original opponent, so they've undoubtedly tried to spice it up a bit.

Asbo, I'm thoroughly looking forward to that morning whisky. My "no beer until July10th" pledge* is almost certainly going to slip this weekend, but I may as well start out with good intentions.
*Set pledge already has 1 qualification to it following my last night in NZ:
-New Zealand beer doesn't count (no comments about fizzy water please - I agree, and at least we're not as bad as the Aussies or Yanks )

Hughie mentioned gathering at 10ish at Paddington, and a "pre-train pint", I was going to call him tonight and get a definitive time. Lads?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I am going to be out from now till about 9.00 pm tonight.
Chef is expecting to pick Gibbo and maybe 2 others up at Temple Meads. They are then travelling to our place via Butcombe Brewery for some supplies (we have none in at the moment as this is a tee-total house ).
Train from Paddington at 10.00, direct to Bristol TM arrives 11.40; 10.15 train goes via Bristol Parkway arrives TM at 12.08. If you have a choice, get the 10.00 am train but remember the train doors will shut at 9.58, so no meeting at 10.00, get there before that.
Arrive 11.40, would be at Pony for 12.10. Lunch not till 1.00. Best to come here first.
We should be able to organise a pick-up at 11.40 for all of you. OK?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Cheers Kia, that makes sense - Hughie meant the 10am train, and the part of me that wanted a sleep-in heard "get there for 10" . I guess that means I'm leaving the house at 8.20 (to arrive Paddington 9.15, Paddington trains are only every 30mins from out my way). So up at 6 to go for a :run2: ...

Kia, The plan is for us to meet at 9.15, catch the 10.00 train, arriving at BTM at 11.40 - happy to get a taxi from there rather than dragging you out of your way tho?

Howya Pete, happy birthday
at the comment.
Thank feic that week's over. Had to try and cram 5 days work into 3 owing to the Exetet visit on Tuesday and being off tomorrow. Kernackered, and all I fancy is orange and soda right now.
Must get a good nights kip and recharge the batteries. The other internal organs can take their chances until Monday

Evening pub,
Happy birthday Pete!
Might be too late for some now but there's a fair few SG picks outstanding. Don't fall at the final hurdle folks!
Nice to see you Staggy!
Off to sort stuff out. Now where'd I put my Sharks shirt... :run2:
