Endurance canoeing fundraiser #DW2014

At Easter, a friend and myself will compete in and aim to complete the Devizes-Westminster endurance canoe race (in around 24 hours).  We are trying to raise money for a few very deserving charities and we'd be extremely grateful for any help/contribution that you can give.  Details of our intended effort and the fundraising page are to be found here: http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/fundraiser-web/fundraiser/showFundraiserProfilePage.action?userUrl=EoinStew_DWInternationalCanoeRace2014   If you'd like to be at Westminster Bridge early on Easter Sunday to offer encouragement/hurl general abuse, you'd be more than welcome too!

No probs, anyone who is willing to paddle in a kayak for 24+ hours for less fortunate people than themselves is to be admired. I truly hope you guys reach your target.

More importantly, have you arranged cover at the Council - I don't want any accidents due to unpainted roads during the busy Easter period!

good luck asbo. this looks incredibly unpleasant. i've done lots of triathlons, but canoeing gives me cramp after about an hour, so i think this is a really serious achievement (assuming you make it )

have made a contribution. might well try to cheer you off as westminster bridge is v close, just depends what the mrs wants to do for easter - due date was 2 days ago!

1. That is one hell of a challenge if Sir Steve Redgrave couldn't finish it, so best of luck to you.
