Re: HC, Pool 2, Round 6: Glasgow Warriors v Toulon
Schiz, hope you, IanBru and Effie have as jolly a day as we had last week. Though I've got a feeling the opposition may be a bit more severe. While you are enjoying your pre match gargle why not plan another awayday? Just a thought.
I love Toonie's latest cunning wheeze; Schlong at 13 battering the opposition for an hour then twinkletoes Vernon, the rangy centre, comes on to run riot. Basterau must be keeking himself. Mind you Jedi coming off the back of a maul and running at Wilkinson would be worth watching.
Enjoy lads; wish I was there. ( I'll be playing at Millwall. Says it all really)

I expect Matawalu is just a bit of a gamble. It doesn't matter if they lose so why not have the opportunity of some nice tries

Jimbo Millwall? - the Shettleston of London ffs ! Take care buddy.
Not feeling good about mañana tbh. Hope we get a big outing from the Jedi as he deserves it. Schlong was good last week, as was Jacko who was my MoM.
Anyway Europe is great and I bloody love it - out or otherwise

Re: HC, Pool 2, Round 6: Glasgow Warriors v Toulon
I was on a train that stopped in Millwall once.
I saw a young boy, no more than ten years old, douse a road sign in lighter fluid, whip out a Zippo, start the conflagration, and then jump up and down like he'd scored the winning goal in the cup final (something, ironically, which never happened in Millwall).
The sign was to indicate two lanes merging.

Covers at last :-
Scotstoun Stadium is all ready for the visit of Heineken Cup champions Toulon tomorrow.Scotstoun
The French side touched down in Glasgow last night and will take on the Warriors in the final Pool 2 match tomorrow afternoon at 3.40pm.
Following a couple of recent postponements due to a waterlogged pitch a lot of work has been done by Scottish Rugby, Glasgow Warriors and Glasgow Life to get the game on tomorrow.
A review of the pitch took place this afternoon and it was deemed playable.
A full pitch cover has been brought in to provide extra protection and will be in place this afternoon until a couple of hours before kick-off.
Almost 6,000 tickets have been sold for the game and tickets are still available from www.glasgowwarriors.org and from the ticket office on 0844 800 3490 (Thursday & Friday, 9am-5pm). Tickets purchased online can be printed at home or collected from the stadium on matchday. The ticket office at Scotstoun Stadium will be open from 10am on Saturday and subject to availability tickets can be purchased right up until kick-off.

In big bad Edinburgh the rain has started and it doesn't look like it's going off. Let's hope that it doesn't cross over to Glasgow.

Re: HC, Pool 2, Round 6: Glasgow Warriors v Toulon
Think of the positives:
Glasgow have 11 Scottish internationals, Toulon have none
Glasgow have been in the last two RaboDirect pro12 play-offs, Toulon have not
Toulon haven't won in Scotland this year
Toulon have lost 7 games in France this season, Glasgow have only lost one
Toulon lost the Top 14 final last year, Glasgow did not
Jonny Wilkinson's been dropped for Danny Cipriani, Jackson has not
Glasgow are undoubtedly favourites.

Is anyone actually watching this?

So 6-3 to Toulon at half time. Eminently winnable this one. Hopefully Nikos mate can stop the mad offloads and take contact. One wild pass too many.
Re: HC, Pool 2, Round 6: Glasgow Warriors v Toulon
Hogg is having a stormer.

Yep! It's just like watching Niko on roids!
Re: HC, Pool 2, Round 6: Glasgow Warriors v Toulon
5 defenders beaten for Nakarawa, lost the ball 3 times though.
I have said it before and will again, Grant isn't a scrummager, get Welsh in instead. Fusaro isn't up for it too.

Nakawara is a breath of fresh air to watch. All he needs to do is get rid of habits picked up from playing 7s like them crazy offloads. But he really is a fantastic player.

What has happened to Weir's kicking recently?! That was his main point of difference. Jackson has to be first choice now for club and country.
