Rugby Advice Empty Rugby Advice

Hi Guys,

Just looking for a bit of advice. i find after training and match's the inside of my wrists are always in pain. it feels like a shock but lasts for about 12 hours. has anyone else come across this and is there any way to help prevent it .

I used to have the same problem when I was younger. I used to try and put too much spin on my passes to help them go further and be more accurate. It was much worse in the winter as well. After a small adjustment to my passing style (slightly less tense in my arms and the grip of the ball) the problem went.

I am not sure if this is the case for you but if it is, practice passing with a football, weird as it sounds, it worked for me.

thanks Nacho, i think my issue is more with tackling and the impact on my arms. probably need to adjust my tackle technique and use shoulders more.
