NFL Fantasy Game 2014
Welcome to Season 1 of the 606v2 NFL fantasy league. I run the league along with Olly and Sodhat and any decision made by us is final.
A 53 man roster must be retained at all times. Leeway will be given during the draft however prior to the draft beginning and before game week one and from then on the squads must be no more than 53.
The 12 playoff teams are the teams involved in this league and will be handed out on a first-come, first-served basis.
Budgets will be allocated following the first two rounds of the draft. Sodhat, Olly and I will give lower budgets to stronger sides and try to make the sides as balanced as possible. Managers will also be given £15m on the 1st of every month
There will be three types of transfers that will occur in the league:
Foreigns: Foreigns will open after the first two rounds of the draft and will see players from across the league available for monetary value. This will be accepted/rejected by Sodhat/Olly/Me after 24 hours in order to give other managers a chance of counter bidding. Managers can only make 1 bid at a time (until it is accepted or you are outbid) and managers can only make 4 signings every 30 days. Generally world class players cost 30m+; Top quality 25m+; good players 20m+; most backup and others will be between 10m and 20m. This will happen on a foreign transfers page
Draft: There will be 4 rounds of drafting. The first two will occur in a snake like format according to the finishing records in league (worst record picks first etc). Then after the first set of Foreigns are coming to a close (3 days after they open or when everyone runs out of money) another two round draft with the same order will occur.
Domestic Transfers: Teams are encouraged to deal between each other. Signings can be made on either cash or part exchange. These will be confirmed by both managers on the domestic confirmation page.
Player releases: Managers may choose to release players from their squad in order to benefit financially or stay within confines on squad boundaries. Compensation for releases will be as follows:
2011/2012/2013 All Pro = £8m
Prior to 2011 All Pro = £5m
Pro Bowler = £3m
Any other = £1m
Fixtures: There will be ten regular season games with each team playing others from their division home and away. These games will take place over the weekend. Teams will be named by Wednesday with tactics added by 00.00 on Friday. Tactics will be limited to 100 words. The page will be updated and managers will predict on results. An average of all predictions will be taken and then 0.5 added to each teams score for every prediction that saw then win. Managers who provide detail (3 lines) in results will receive £5m whilst just score will receive £2.5m. Failure to regularly predict will lead to punishments. The top 3 teams in each division will make playoffs.

Re: NFL Fantasy Game 2014
If you want a high first round draft pick then Chargers or Eagles will pick 2/3
Broncos/Seahawks probably best two sides although I was tempted with Bengals. Strong on either side

Where do I sign up for the free £15m?
Anyway, in all seriousness I don't think I have the time to do this this year so last years Falcons owner shall take a pass

Be far more impressed if you can win it with Chargers. Broncos with a few deals are probably favourites!

I'd say so. Them and Packers got to postseason with weakest records, however Packers were missing star player for most of the gamr

I'll take the Colts if they are free. If not, just gimme any of them, I'm not fussy.
CJB - did you get access to the previous fantasy league admin area? It's here: https://www.606v2.com/f192-admin-section
But if that link doesn't work I'll get back on to Hero to see if he'll let you in.

Re: NFL Fantasy Game 2014
Well worst case I suppose you can always just take the Bears in place of the last team that's left, will mean one easy victory for the rest of the teams in the division

Barney92 mentioned he would be interested when CJB posted on the main thread, but he hasn't been around for a while.
Bull is still being menopausal.. maybe GSC or Pr4wn, although I assume they would have mentioned they were interested by now.
From last year's game - GB1919, Take it to the house would be the guys who are still around I think

Re: NFL Fantasy Game 2014
We could always go three divisions of three? You play your own division rivals twice plus the rest once. That's still ten games. Bottom three in each division miss out on playoffs. Best two teams get byes and the other four go into wildcard week?
