Has Khan bumped his Monkey head? Empty Has Khan bumped his Monkey head?

Post by D4thincarnation Wed 18 May 2011, 5:58 pm

Judah has blasted Khan for calling him a runner.

Little boy, sign up and its on! And remember I did not start this, Amir Khan did, but I will finish this. Fighting is something that I was born to do, so let's do it boy," Judah said.

http://www.boxingscene.com/judah-khan-bumped-his-monkey-f-head--39300

Things are heating up, has Khan bitten of more than he chew with the verbals with Juduh?

How do you see this fight going? It could be a great one.

As soon as Judah said Khan was a step down I knew the fight was on.

Zab will win by KO.

Guess we will find out who is faster.

IMO it is Khan, how will Judah deal with someone that can outspeed him?

Khan to keep it at range for four rounds until Judah loses heart like he always does. Look for Judah to the fake an injury that has the ref stopping the fight so Judah can claim he was ready to go on but was robbed.

Khan may edge it on speed but Zab plants his feet when punching and has the more natural power. Plus he is also a better boxer imo. I'm a big fan of his skills as well as his impromptu breakdance moves.

Just shouting out knowing Khan is one of the biggest paydays around...

How will Judah fare with someone quicker than him, I think the quesion is how will khan fare with someone he cant easily outspeed.

I hope this is made, Judah is a much better fighter at LWW than WW and khan is in most eyes #1. Judah has developed a good defense under sweat pea and plants his feet. However, his chin is suspect and hasn't had great opposition.

Khan has lightning speed, good tank and is good at throwing overwhelming combos. However, like Judah his chin is questionable and seems to lack a plan B or a inside game. There is also the question mark over his punching power. He has also got the tendency to become weak in the late rounds. His opposition looks good at first glance, but none of those fighters he was suppose to win.

IMO Judah KOs khan about round 6

He still went over in his last fight, carried on like a whiney little b!tch about it and nearly cried. Judah hasn't changed that much and Whittaker can't turn back time. If he could HE'D still be fighting.

How is he going to do it..

There is a collective bunch of wishful thinkers on this thread if you think Grandpa Judah beats Khan..

Khan is taller..has a longer reach...has a better jab...and is much fresher....

Come on guys you can do better than this.

Have said already judahs best days are behind him. In fairness to khan with Bradley not wanting to fight him he's a bit stuck for an opponent at 140. He's beat kotelnik, paulie and maidana, Alexander is coming off a loss, morales was touted but would get slated if it were made. Judah may have seen better days but he's a belt holder which makes him the most viable option. To be honest, if Bradley doesn't want it then khan may as well move up to 147. He's been banging on about it for long enough, if he can't get the undisputed fight with Tim why hang around? Berto, Ortiz, Clottey maybe even Brook are all interesting opposition at 147 - more so than a relative gimme against a guy who blew his potential years ago and who's renaissance has been well overhyped.

I got Khan in this one, Judah has failed every time at the highest level and with some funny and ridiculosu results, i thought he lost his last fight and to be honest should be thankful he can still make decent money in the division. Kham TKO late on

Judah will have one last big fight (this one probably) and will come up short again. Khan has this by an easy UD or maybe even a full on KO in the later rounds.

I simply believe Judah's time has been and gone.

Khan wins this for me as well. Still a decent match up though and the next best option after Bradley. Judah is still a decent name in America, he's a title holder, he's a bit different to anything Khan has faced before and shouldn't be a tough nights work if Khan doesn't do anything stupid.

i know that kell brook was almost begging team khan for a fight on ringside-he is convinced he's got his number. would make a great UK fight, and could help repair the damaged relationship with team khan and sky.

judah is a dangerous and lively opponent but think khan will get the better of him in the later rounds, probably TKO late on. hopefully he'll take a fight with bradley after that unifying the division before moving up to 147. have to say if he could manage that it would be a very solid achievement for the first part of khans career.

Khan is ducking Bradley so he has went looking for the weaker and shot fighter in Judah.

Khan wins a total shut out or stops Judah. He doesnt have it anymore.

I'm not a massive Khan fan and would pick Judah to beat him by KO in 8, but this isn't true. Bradley was the one who postponed the fight he wants a gimme fight because he gets paid $1.3m for it then he wants to fight Khan. Khan doesn't have the comfy HBO 2 fight deal that Bradley got.

Not strickly true, Bradley is ducking.

Bradley can't chose anyone to fight, it has to be approved by HBO, and Khan offered him more than 1.3 million.

Maybe it is everyone elses fault. Or maybe people should wise up to what team vulture are really like.

Steven you're always so negative mate. Very Happy

I like Judah he was rotten at WW though. At LWW he has only lost once and that was when he did his funny dance against Tszyu.
I think you're right about something though it won't go the distance. 2 big punchers 2 suspects chins. I think it's an interesting one tbh. Will get to see if Judah still has it he thinks he does and so does Pernell Whittaker. Will be interesting to see how Khan deals with a big hitter who can box and isn't just a one dimensional fighter like Maidana.

Judah tried to distance himself from Khan too, but Khan tactic has worked, but it could be all talk from Judah, just like Bradley.

It will be a good fight and will get Khan another title.

Bradley is number 1 and has 2 titles having faced the better opposition. Khan has more fans and generates more more, not by much though. It should be 50/50, unless of course you are saying the person who generates more money deserves a bigger slice regardless of other circumstance?

Different weight divisions mate. I often find it amusing when bigger no-name boxers call out an established smaller champion from a lower weight.

If Khan brings more money to the table than Bradley the why should it be a 50/50 split? Makes no sense.

Khan will make more with a 50/50 split fighting the divisional number one than fighting anyone else.

Should Haye be getting more money than Wlad, he makes more after all...

Simple stuff...

Bradley all talk, but when Khan came knocking, Bradley and his big head went a running.

It was 1.3, and Bradley is guaranteed 1.2 regardless of who he fights.

Bradley is number 1 and has 2 titles having faced the better opposition. Khan has more fans and generates more more, not by much though. It should be 50/50, unless of course you are saying the person who generates more money deserves a bigger slice regardless of other circumstance?

Floyd vs. Manny will be split on Floyds favour.

He is the number 1 with two belts. Do you understand?

But he will earn his career high purse, if he doesnt fight, he wont get that money? what would you do?

Not a hard concept to understand really. Doesn't mean it's pretty much irrelevant. He isn't popular and doesn't bring much money to the table so doesn't deserve 50/50. Do you understand?

If Bradley beats Khan his stock goes through the roof, the US is crying out for a boxer star and he will able to command big money.

1.5m offer is a good one, don't think he earned that for the Alexander fight.

Khan might take 2m, plus Bradley could negotiate that offer, he didn't even bother to do that.

Do you think Haye should be getting more than Wlad, after all he generates more money...

Do you have a one digit IQ?

judah is a dangerous and lively opponent but think khan will get the better of him in the later rounds, probably TKO late on. hopefully he'll take a fight with bradley after that unifying the division before moving up to 147. have to say if he could manage that it would be a very solid achievement for the first part of khans career.

Brook is convinced he'll get a good payday that why he feels he has the number of the LWW Khan.

I'm not so sure Az he is a very cocky guy who clearly has talent just not the platform to display it. He probably does believe he can do it.

Different weight divisions mate. I often find it amusing when bigger no-name boxers call out an established smaller champion from a lower weight.

Brook is the shorter though, and I believe with less reach.
