Surprise Rumble match participants

So far there has been 19 superstars confirmed for the Rumble match on Sunday;

-Big E. Langston
-Goldust
-Cody Rhodes
-R-Truth
-Xavier Woods
-Fandango
-Rey Mysterio
-Seth Rollins
-Roman Reigns
-Dean Ambrose
-Luke Harper
-Erick Rowan
-Jimmy Uso
-Jey Uso
-Damien Sandow

For me that list is lacking in star power.
With 11 places still remaining, who else do you expect to be involved?
I predict Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, Kane, Antonio Cesaro, Jack Swagger and Ryback all to make an appearance. As well as someone from NXT, potentially Adrian Neville. Wouldn't be surprised to see any of Chris Jericho, Christian or Evan Bourne return. Couple of pointless 'legend' appearances usually take place, maybe, Mick Foley, Booker T or Roddy Piper.
Aside from the obvious candidates can anyone see any big returns taking place? Such as Goldberg, Angle or Hogan?

Have they said there will be 30 entrants? Didn't they recentlt have more than that in the rumble?

Isn't Kane a confirmed entrant?

I see Harper and Rowan but no Wyatt?

No there hasn't been a mention of Kane being in the Rumble.

Shot - that's because Wyatt is facing Bryan one on one. Having him lose to Bryan and then lose again in the rumble wouldn't be very beneficial for his character.

Bryan to beat Wyatt then Bryan to be eliminated by the Wyatt family.

I'd have it the other way around hodge (on the premise that Daniel Bryan's winning the Rumble). Have Bray Wyatt beat Bryan earlier in the card then come the Rumble match I'd have Harper and Rowan enter close together then 5 or so entrants down the line Bray would come out and have the Wyatt Family eliminating wrestlers left, right and centre. The commentators could harp on about how nobody can stop the Wyatt Family until Daniel Bryan comes out and eliminates them one by one.

Think Bryan will face Undertaker at WM, so imo won't be winning the rumble so this is why I think it makes more sense. 3 person combo eliminating Bryan doesn't make him look weak and gets the win.

what about Wade Barret? come out duribg tge match announce that the bad news for the rest of the roster is he is entering the rumble let him gav a decent run b4 being eliminated

Interesting that the list lacks star power. To me that looks a very good list. Potential big stars, storylines, former champs and former winners. Plus spot monkeys. Thats a very good list for 19.

I say it lacks star power due to the fact there's only two genuine main eventers in there in Punk and Batista

That point remains fair actually, as you would look at this list and see two real potential winners. Problem is the other potential winners are likely to be given as busy. Bryan needs to be in it, as does Bray. Orton and Cena will probably go on last sadly, but one of them really should be in after losing the title match. Lesnar should be in it too.

Its a good list, but not a very good list. I concede, but I can't imagine they'll add anything rubbish, depending on your feelings for "legends"

Bryan, Wyatt and Big Show should all be in the Rumble, rather than singles matches. It makes no sense that they would not want to enter the Rumble. Why would a wrestler not want to be in a match where the winner headlines Wrestlemania for the title?

Lesnar maybe in the match?

Doubtful considering he's the number 1 contender following the Rumble.

Wyatt hasn't shown any desire for titles yet, I think his character has been built in such a way that it makes perfect sense for his feud with Bryan to be more important to him. In the same way, the issue has been so intense and Bryan is booked as not backing down it makes sense for that desire to over rule his want for the title.

Also, if you applied that logic you'd only have one other match on the Rumble card. Wrestling has to bend logic as in its very nature it doesn't make sense. It is nice to see a decent card under the Rumble and I would expect Bryan, if not Bryan and Wyatt, to be in the Rumble anyway.

Ryback, Titus O’Neil, Darren Young, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro are all missing from the original list, which now gives us a grand total of 25.

I'd suspect that both Daniel Bryan & Bray Wyatt will enter, then the last remaining 3 could be anybodies guess? Guys like Christian, Evan Bourne and even Wade Barrett havn't been seen in a while.

For purely nostalgia pop's, my guesses are that we will see returns from Sean Waltman/X-Pac, Jeff Hardy then somebody like Steve Blackman/Gangrel from the Attitude Era

I have a suspicion they might do a surprise 40 man Rumble so that lets say all 30 have come in and one man is left standing and then the Rumble just carries on. I think WWE have a big enough and high enough quality roster to pull it off when you factor in nostalgia pops and possible injury returns.

Imagine that. Imagine Punk thinking he's won the Rumble and then Kane coming out announcing he has to get through 10 other men, including Kane himself. Followed one my one by Road Dogg, Billy Gunn, X-PAC and a few heavies such as Ryback, Barrett, Clay and a couple of others. Punk looks like he's gonna defy the odds once again when Triple H comes out at number 40. Triple H wins the rumble with the help of his cronies. An obsessed Punk goes onto win the title inside Elimination Chamber against 5 other men, and defends it again the next night on Raw against Orton. Wrestlemania main event - CM Punk (C) vs Triple H

Anyone know what Bad News Barrett was scratched from the Rumble?
