Wrestling Event!
Just wanted to let you guys know about a wrestling event going down in my home town of Swindon that you may or may not be interested in travelling to.
The guys that are booked for this show include X-Pac, Al Snow, Kid Kash, Road Dogg and Billy Gunn.
The date is Sunday 29th May they will be in a store signing autographs (15 quid a pop) I believe earlier that day, then the event in the evening tickets between 15 and 50 quid.
For those on facebook if you type in wrestling stars signing in store it should come up.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just received a message on facebook, that the signing in store is still going ahead but the event later on in the evening has been canceled.
Seems like these guys can't arrange a pi** up in a brewery!!!

Re: Wrestling Event!
You must have money to burn mate. £15 for an autograph, who on earth would pay that? £50 a ticket! It cost me less to go see Man Utd v Chelsea last week

Re: Wrestling Event!
I went to British Wrestlemania in 93 at my local leisure centre it was hilarious. What a rude man Shirley Crabtree was (aka Big Daddy) he was telling 7 year old fans to get to the back of the F***ing queue whilst they waited for his autograph during the interval. Me & my mates climbed in the ring during the break & it pretty much started a 50 man battle royal between all the little kids there!

Re: Wrestling Event!
Yea im not certain to go yet and think you have to book tickets on the website, id rather pay on the door at least then I would of seen them in the store before to see if it looks worthy of going in.
If I go I will defo give a report on the whole event and what it was like, I couldn't imagine going out 10 years back to 20,000+ every other night then to go to shows like this must be pretty soul distroying

Re: Wrestling Event!
Yep and rather brutal ones at that, Val Venis too had rather stern words regarding the owner Danny Rodd.
We've actually been in touch with him in hopes of Q&As with some of the roster and he's replied back with one word answers most of the time.

Re: Wrestling Event!
1pw have been very much like that since day one mate.
but have a look on the dates i put up a little while back lots of good companies there.
I would suggest WAW, FWA,IPW UK or NBW southside and any of the shows organised by a merchandise (NOAH and Dragon Gate). If you fancy going to a brit event. all depends where you are really
