Was only a suggestion.

But yeah, another suggestion if I may, I know I have nothing to do with the league, however, a panel would be good just so we all know when to make the best decisions and it needs to include members that are good communicators together. Maybe make a final decision over a PM?

I would make suggestions but I think Gregers looks like he has it under control and I would let him get on with it.

From my experience, it's all very well having a panel, and on Euro Division we have the admin area where we can pick each others brains, the league was at its most successful when you had one person (normally me) who took overall charge.

Morning

Milky, nice squads. Like your Serie A one a lot. Id make a change though, get IF Rossi convert to a CAM & play him instead of Llajic.
Hows IF Mertens? Hes on my list of players to try but ive been using my Ligue 1 & La Liga/BPL hybrid more of late.

Get IF Abdennour for your Ligue 1 team, hes quality. Great work rates too.
Hows Bedimo? I currently have Maxwell.

Do you do a lot of trading for coins Milky or do you buy packs?

OK, im taking charge them.

League Runners: Myself + ???

I will handle all Injuries & Lawyers. Matchday tactics sent to me & I will post. When playing me another member will be nominated to receive mine & my opponants tactics.
Gregers, you were happy to run the initial draft & cup competition yes?
Other responsibilities yet to be assigned - several members have said they are willing to help.

To do list: League pages. Would someone like to create these with me? If we can get them set up then they are ready.

I will post up a voting page for the draft & league name suggestions.

Thanks mate.

I do a mixture of things for my coins usually and I was planning to get Rossi at some point.

Martens is a solid attacking midfielder, very good on the ball.

Bedimo is a quality left back and thanks for all of the advice.

Before I vote is it possible for someone to explain in even more detail the 2 league options? As I wasn't in the league when it started last time.

Milky, no worries. I trade a fair bit when I can. Ive made teams with all the big leagues so im a bit lost what to do now. I have a Silver Bundesliga team which is pretty fun. May make a BPL one but I really want to make something different, just struggle for inspiration.

League options are explained on the Voting Page. Any questions you have ask on that page & people will answer.

Thanks mate.

I will post my Eredivisie team later if you want ZZZ?

I followed some other peoples teams but changed it up a bit and I thin I use a different formation to some that I have seen.

I use the squad quite a lot and it is amazing to use in my opinion and it cost me something like 30-50k and of course you can switch players depending on preference or cost.

I was able to beat quite high rated teams with it also.

You'll find a new job quick as long as you look, only the lazy people say there's no jobs about.

Yeah Nick, 5.1 inch screen, great battery. I'm getting the LG G3 if it comes out in May (When my contract is over)  or the HTC One Two. Let me know if the back case of the G2 is cheap plastic like the Samsung Galaxies or if it's sturdy plastic like the Nexus 4.

What phone do you own Gregory?

Viva, the G3 wont be this May.
The Samsung S5 & as far as the rumour goes the LG G2-Pro will be unveiled at this months MWC in Barca.
The G3 is being lined up for some convention show (forgot the name of it) in Setptmber which was when the G2 was unveiled last year.

The S5 looks quite nice. I just cant be bothered waiting month to get a phone with one or two extra features. + i wanna sell my Nexus & use the money for my passport

I've heard rumors that they might release it early because they don't want to get overshadowed by Samsung again and leaving a big gap in sales. I know the G2 came out in September so I'm doubting it very much it'll coke out before that.

I'm not going back to Samsung until they stop using Touch wiz, it's so bad slows the phone down. My Nexus 4 is much smoother to run then my sisters S4.

Whats lg g2 pro is that a slight upgrade version of the LG g2? What about the Nexus 5? Passport is 72.50 will you even get that much for your older nexus.

I can categorically state that I did not vote the other way (and Marky can back me up). I'm too honest, plus I wouldn't feel like I had won fairly if I had achieved it by voting tactically.

I hope Treb's is the same

Yeah, you too.

Tbh I'm a bit past caring now. I'm just keen to get it done and dusted and the new league can start. People moved on a couple of weeks ago so the last couple of weeks have been a bit pointless feeling.

Plus it was tarnished when your tactic became to strengthen my opponent. Was a bit disappointing to see and I genuinely thought about forfeiting.

Will be good to see the fresh start Ok!

FC Basel 2-1 WHU Do You Think You Are
(Oscar x2) (Benzema)

Votes: 2-0 (Oscar x2), 2-1, 2-1 (Oscar, Villa) (Benzema), 2-2, 2-2, 1-1 (Drogba) (Benzema), 1-2 = 12-9 divided by 7 voters and rounded down = 1-1
+1 to Basel for 2 more win votes = 2-1

Feedback:
Basel look really strong with their recent additions, whilst WHU look light in the middle of the park. Saul, for all his good play IRL is completely out of his depth trying to mark Oscar, who was just too good for him and ran the game.
I like the WHU set-up but I feel that in the key areas Basel had the key players, the midfield trio of Pirlo, Matuidi and Oscar is frankly awesome. Saul v Oscar is a one sided battle, could have done with a better DM or a better man marker.
Great game between these two sides, West Ham got great joy as they often do down the wings with their wingbacks causing serious problems. Both teams battled hard in midfield, with plenty of quality on show. Overall neither team deserved to lose with both sides putting in a good set of tactics, Basel could do with a striker whereas West Ham need a better centre back.
Both teams have joy in attacking situations but Benzema manages to get a goal for FC WHYDYTYA which comes from a cross by Gerrard. Drogba manages to get an equaliser late in the game to get a point for FC Basel.

Southampton 2-1 Ajax
(Aubameyang x2) (Berardi)

Votes: 1-1 (Aubameyang) (Berardi), 2-2, 2-1, 2-1, 2-1, 1-0 (Aubameyang), 1-1, 0-2 = 11-9 divided by 8 voters and rounded down = 1-1
+1 to Southampton for 2 more win votes = 2-1

Feedback:
Ajax surprised Saints with their unusually normal formation and this meant that Saints left themselves a bit exposed. But the class in the Saints side meant they were always going to get something out of this game IMO and it earned them a hard fought draw.
Ajax's tactics are too much bigging up their players which I don't like, and Eriksen is played in too deep a role. I'm also not sure player by player they are a match for a strong Southampton side who look more fluid in attack.
The formation for saints just works as they out think ajax. The difference has to come down to the front 3 of saints being far more reliable than their ajax counterparts
Ajax get some chances early on but after a while Aubameyang manages to get in behind the defensive setup of Ajax and puts the ball in the back of the net to get the win for Southampton.

PSV 1-1 Fool Em
(Bony) (Costa)

Votes: 1-2, 2-2 (Bony, Thauvin) (Costa, Sturridge), 1-0, 1-2, 3-2, 0-1, 2-2 = 10-11 divided by 7 voters and rounded down = 1-1

Feedback:
Good tacics from both sides and PSV should take a lot of credit. But they just came up against a stronger XI
Fool Em playing Pjanic and Sturridge as reverse wingers works to an extent with little midfield cover from PSV, but it makes Fool Em too narrow at times allowing Depay and Agbonlahor to get at the Fool Em fullbacks. An even game ending all square for me.
A good showing from PSV who get a deserved victory, putting in a better tactical effort and having a go at Fool Em, Thauvin's position in tactics appears different to his position in the line-up, something to look at. They need to be careful not to be over-run in midfield a bit in future games.
What a game, pulsating. Psv just have more in my eyes with thauvin the difference as he scores and sets up a couple. For fool Costa scores twice but Sturridge is wasted out wide. (Also Jrodz is set to come on in the tactics but is injured)

Athletic Ballbag 1-1 Borussia Monchengladbach
(Negredo) (Pedro)

Votes: 2-1 (Reus, Negredo) (Pedro), 2-2 (Negredo x2) (Pedro, Adebayor), 0-1, 1-1, 0-0, 2-1, 1-1 (Robben) (Benatia) = 8-7 divided by 7 voters and rounded down = 1-1

Feedback:
Both sides strong, Ballbag needed to win, but noth sides have a lot of attacking flair and I have to say Gladbach have a stronger defence. Gladbach needed someone more clinical than Adebayor but Ballbag were able to rely on Negredo to earn a draw.
Borussia Monchengladbach have the best defence in the league and keep a clean sheet today, Reus and Robben were frustrated by a well drilled defence and tactically their side put in a lot more effort to get the victory.
Gladbach have the dominance of yaya which gives them the edge in the centre against an ageing Alonso. However ball bag are so threatening on the break. Score draw in an upset.
Both teams set up well defensively with plenty of chances happening during the game but neither team manage to get a goal in this game and it ends in a draw.
Not convinced with the Ballbag defence. The addition of Naldo weakened it. Meanwhile Monchengladbach strengthened & have a strong defensive unit. At the same time its hard to stop truley class players like Robben & Reus. Going forward Monchengladbach main threats were Yaya & Pedro but without enough quality around them to support it wasnt enough to cause big problems to a defense which contains Naldo....thats saying something. Monchengladbach did well to double up on Lahm today and a cross from that flank got a goal but the movement of Robber, Reus & Callejon rescued a point.

ZwagAtletico 0-1 Lille
(Sanchez)

Votes: 0-1 (Chiellini), 1-1, 2-2 (Ibrahimovic x2) (Sanchez, Benteke), 1-3, 0-0, 1-1 (Ibrahimovic) (Sanchez), 1-1 = 6-9 divided by 7 voters and rounded down = 0-1
***Reminder that "+1 for 2 more win votes" only applies when the game is level***

Feedback:
Very little between the two sides. A lot of the game was spent centrally, which was congested with 3 centre midfielders on both sides, and both sides wingers instructed to come narrow. Lille nearly won thanks to the greater desire, but I felt that their right side of their defence was a weakness and I couldn't see Zwag not scoring.
Both sides played 4-3-3, both sides had good instructions, both sides have advantages over the other in different areas, honestly cannot separate the two sides, the in form Adam Johnson has a blinder and is good foil for Zlatan, while Lille's recent transfer dealings have been a bit dentrimental as the midfield looks significantly weaker without Yaya Toure.
A game that is much closer than league position would suggest. Lille presaa but Zwags defence stands tall. Lille can't commit too much due to the threat of zlatan, cabaye and the wingers. No score draw.
Ibrahimovic scores from an amazing strike in the first half and he has many chances along with that. Lille manage to get an equaliser late on from a beautiful free kick from Sanchez.

Final Standings:
1. Lille 9 7 2 0 9 1 +8 23
2. Athletic Ballbag 9 7 2 0 10 3 +7 23

Congratulations to Gladbach on winning the title.  Whistle

Delighted with the win against Gregers, my favourite victory this season and to finish 5th not bad as the teams above were always far ahead except Gladbach who only finished above because I fieled 10 men against them and more importantly gaining Pedro and Toure.

It's not my fault that you cannot count to 10 Viva, There is always next season you might finally figure what that next seemingly illusive number is.  Whistle

That being said feel bad for Afro but if someone offers you a crappy deal for them you're going to take it regardless, It's like Chelsea loaning Lukaku & selling Mata, All their trying to do is cause issues for Citeh & Arsenal. That being said again i did feel i got it correct tactically for once  OK

Alright lads,

I have been playing these games a long time and I think that's my first title win. Delighted. As I said before results were published, Afro was a great opponent, and I don't feel as though my victory was tarnished in any way, especially as he bought Reus by selling Viva Koke, a player who will never play for his new club, and all the other injured players were sold as well.

I need to quit this though, to focus on my studies. It's been a blast, everyone from The_one (the first league I was ever in) right through to the newest manager, Holymilky. Nick, Afro, Viva, you three are the greatest online friends an online manager could want, and Azzy, if you're watching. You're a pillock Whistle. I'm going to ask for a ban and that'll be it for now.

Bye everyone OK

PS. I hope these leagues continue strongly, maybe I'll return after my degree. Who knows. Add me on twitter/PS4: Antonthology.
