Also I did my research and apparently the Pats want Tuck and he has a 11.5 sack average, 2 fumbles and 1 interception according to this years stats...

It's not fair to TM Moot if you change your pick, Bull. He would have picked Tuck if you didn't.

I wasn't planning on going RB initially, but Forte fits my game plan nicely. Too good to miss at this stage.

I was just looking into the stats on NFL.com and saw he had good stats, then read somewhere that the Pats want him. Guessing it was a stupid mistake to pick him then?


Thoughts on picking Tillman then?

Tillman's alright, Tuck is fairly Meh. Would've gone CB and then safety if I was Denver, pass rush is quite decent

How's TJ Ward rated as a Safety?

The fumbles mask that he's not great in coverage and he's a bit of a system player

Should I have drafted Vernon instead of Tuck?

He's better but his teammate Wake is much better.

As for CB I would've gone Haden/Grimes/Verner

I went Jason Pierre-Paul over Tuck in last years comp. Don't think either if them had a great 2013 though.

Hmm I was just going on what their SACK average on nfl.com was.

The others I considered were Jared Allen and Dumervil but again had no actual idea if they were any good.

Yeah I searched up JPP as he came up with having a high rating on a high rated list I found.

Sacks aren't the be all and end of all of how good a DE is, same goes for CB and INTs

Then I guess I'm an idiot

I would, but I wanted to move down and pick up another player who helps patch up my WR corps for the moment.

I might still draft a WR, but it just gives me more options as the other player I was considering is still gonna be on the board at #21 I reckon

I did consider Rice but plumped for Forte due to last seasons performances.

Rice looked like he was running in a fat suit last year

Forte is good

Forte should join Denver, that's where he wants to go not Seattle.
