Isn't that excuse grown tired now? He has been one of England's most consistent players since the last World Cup. Only Wayne Rooney has more goals/ assists in the Premier League since 2010. The trouble with Walcott is a huge section of the Tottenham supporting media/ pundits haven't forgiven his for going to the 2006 World Cup ahead of Defoe.

only problem i have with walcott is his injury record. seems to miss a few months every seson due to injury.

we can all admit Liverpool have seriously upped there performance level and United have seriously dropped theirs.

Yes if we got a load of points and it was tight we would be cursing other sides but we've far too many of our own issues.

At this point last season Mysti we had 62 points, it's fair to say it's our regression more than anything that has led to us being 7th, without that we'd be top by a distance.

They are playing better by virtue of us playing worse than we have in the past, the way they are playing is only good enough to better than us this season. To use our previous points totals show how far we as a team have fallen, 22 points down on last season, that is the problem.
