Wow, Palace will be out of relegation trouble in a couple of weeks at this rate. Anyone who doubted Pulis' ability to manage a team is a silly billy.

Massive point for Norwich there. Could be crucial come what May.

Big result. Villa only woke up when we had our cushion. Albrighton should have started by the looks of things, ran their game when he came on.
Most clean sheets in the league now, first back-to-back Premier League wins under Allardyce

Albrighton should start pretty much every game.
Fair play to you.
Sounds like we were poor again.

You were awful till the second went in. We kind of reverted into our shell and Lambert made a change or two. Bringing on Albrighton, putting Bacuna at right back and taking off whoever kept letting Jarvis skin him did change things for you. Hit the post from a screamer and the bar from a header too. But it became a bit lump crosses and hope.

Someone blames arsernal for Man U not getting a top 4
I say BS it's down to Liverpool playing better than united
Well it isn't is it as we are 7th, there are 3 teams between us and fourth - because we have been rubbish.

You do realise its down to both of those factors, right? Liverpool have been better than United and United haven't been very good.

ENT just stop talking will ya. It's becoming embarrassing.
Liverpool are better than united., it doesn't matter if its because Liverpool are better or united are worse. they mean the same thing.. But what it certainly isn't is because of Arsernal....
The original point was that Arsernal have cost united and gifted Liverpool 4th place.. The poster didn't mention any other teams.. My comment was in context.
The end..

Was one of Jeremy Beadle's hands bigger than the other or was one of them smaller?
Also despite not scoring dear Luis still did the two things I'll remember most about today's match and is anyone else starting to think that Ozil might not quite be the bargain and stroke of Wenger genius we were being led to believe earlier in the season?

The problem I think with Ozil is he looks much better when there's a more defensive player in midfield with him, otherwise he has to work a lot harder. Arsenal have a lot of similar midfielders and they sometimes seem to all be playing very similar roles, look a much more balanced side with Flamini in the team I think.

How bad was Ozil today!!! Money well spent. Now that i think about it, has Ozil actually played well against any big side?

Man u's chances of getting top 4 are being destroyed by Arsenal.
That is a fascinating conclusion of Arsenal getting smashed. My own conclusion would be:
Arsenal's chances of winning the title have been destroyed by Liverpool.

Just glancing through the results.
Norwich 0-0 with Citeh - two games in a row the latter haven't scored! Olly must be delighted...or maybe not because Hughton wil last a bit longer now.
Another good win for Palace - always said they'll stay up, Pulis is doing magnficently.
Chelsea back on top - where they should be, and where they will remain.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'x'
Never a penalty for Palace and Speroni made a couple of brilliant saves/we missed some big chances, but Palace deserved their win, fair play to Pulis.

As Ent said, Mourinho always substituted Ozil in Madrid because he's either a star or distinctly average. After a great start, he's faded considerably. He even had the majority of the Xmas period to relax & recharge the batteries & he still looks flat with no spark. In the big games, where the pressure is big, Ozil has failed to deliver, especially in the away games. Mourinho could not have such a luxury player in his side who offers nothing defensively for the team, similar to Mata. I'm not sure Wenger is so adamant on Ozil to do the uglier side of the game, which in a tight Championship, where every fine detail counts, will probably cost you. I wouldn't blame Ozil for everything, when he has created chances this season, they have usually been wasted by a certain Frenchman. You simply can't win a Championship with a striker like Giroud, yeah, he offers certain aspects but his finishing is appalling & he hasn't scored a goal against any top team this year. All these issues are bare for everyone to see now. Losing 5-1 @ Anfield, losing 1-0 @ Old Trafford & losing 6-3 @ Etihad is quite clear evidence that this Arsenal side are going to come up short this season. With trips to Goodison, Stamford Bridge & playing Man City @ home, I can only see Arsenal falling further away, more likely into the clutches of Liverpool.
Look, I've loved watching Arsenal this season, however, without addressing the key issues, they won't be winning trophies. Tough day for them but in everyone's eyes, it was most likely coming.

Well that was bunch of crap today just didn't turn up at all bar Chamberlain. Can only get better that being said feared the worst today had a bet with my scouser friend who thought we'd trample them £20 a goal he was that confident we'd win and i thought Liverpool would. i came up £80 better off
If we don't get a result against United ill be worried but now we are 1pt behind Chelsea. It's hardly over with if being spanked is ruling someone out we'd have been out in December when Citeh beat us 6-3 lets face it if it wasn't for the goal frame Citeh would of been annihilated on Monday . Got Citeh/United at the emirates & Chelsea/Spurs away so fancy us to get a few points from them weather its enough to keep up is a different story.
Was a bad day for Arsene he fell over on the way out the ground

We were magnificent today, totally nullified Citeh and really should've won it at the end. Great point but it'll mean bugger all if we don't get something at West Ham on Tuesday!
Fair play to Hughton today got it spot on!
Redmond was brilliant, tore their defence to shreds over and over again. Tettey is brilliant in midfield, how some rate Bradley Johnson over him is truly beyond me! And Yobo did well, although he looks at least 45
Why on earth City didn't start Dzeko I dunno. And they played Yaya as a CDM! He spent most of the game between the centre halves! Awful from Pellegrino and Demechelis is the single worst central defender I have seen at Carrow Road since the days of League 1 bar none. He is absolutely atrocious, beyond words how bad he is

It's interesting to see how liable Yaya (who should get done by FA but won't) is in midfield without Fernandinho beside him. 2 games 0 wins & 0 goals

Oh god yes Mysti! But we can't revert to old ways on Tuesday is what I mean. We attacked at pace today, we counter attacked brilliantly with Redmond and Pilks. This isn't the norm for us! We still need to be heading into those final four games well clear, but its given confidence we can get some point from them! Our season is now these next 9 games. If we get 12/13 points from them we'll be safe
Nando that's cos certainly today they slotted Yaya in the Fernandinho role and pushed Milner forward. Terrible by Pellegrino totally took Yaya out of the game. Should've played Garcia/Yaya allowing him to get forward. He spent most of the game between the CB's on the halfway line!
