A Comparison of the Big 4 Empty A Comparison of the Big 4

Post by HM Murdock Sat Feb 08, 2014 3:33 am

Despite their current separation in the rankings, Federer, Nadal , Djokovic and Murray remain ‘The Big 4’ in most people’s minds. But how do their respective abilities match up?

Who would be best in the role of Kenickie in a stage production of Grease?
Rafa. All those weeks at number 2 make him the perfect sidekick. His accent would bring unique flavour to the "keep talking, whoa keep talking" line in Greased Lightning.

Who does the best impression of Archbishop Desmond Tutu?
Andy, and it would involve swearing.

Who would be the least convincing contributor to a documentary on the Boer War?
Rafa. I imagine the eyebrow would reach unprecedented new heights.

Who is most likely create a furore with a tactless comment about Michael Jackson?
Roger, especially if it is after a loss.

Who is most likely to accept an invitation to turn on the Christmas lights in Great Yarmouth?
Novak, and it would involve a wig.

Who would feel most uncomfortable in the women’s underwear section of a department store?
Andy.

Who is most likely make a misjudged physical joke that attracts the attention of a security guard in the women’s underwear section of a department store?
Novak.

Who is most likely to spend a relaxing Sunday morning reading the sports section whilst wearing a kimono robe?
Roger

Who is most likely to have piece of wood in his garage that he uses especially to stir paint?
Rafa. He may even clean it after use.

Who is most likely to have ranked Girls Aloud in the order in which he ‘would’?
Andy. It would be: 1) Kimberly, 2) Cheryl, 3) Nicola, 4) Nadine, 5) Sarah.

I enjoyed this... Until you claimed that a human being of the male persuasion would have Nicola anywhere but 5th place in a 'would' ranking. That upset me.

It's simply beyond the scope of reality.

Don't get me wrong, she's nice. But compared to the rest... Just no.

Please edit this, or I'll cry.

She gets ginger points given it's a Scot doing the rankings.

Danny, I was merely speculating about Andy's preference.

Although Nicola would probably rank about 3rd in the Murdoch list too. I like her singing voice. When I'm a major international music star, I'm going to write a duet to sing with her. She'll be so moved with the emotional content of my lyrics that I will become very attractive to her. And Nadine.

 Laugh and Nadine.

Right from the start I was a Cheryl man. She's become a bit of a caricature of herself in recent years, but still stunning. Hate her arse tattoo. Love her figure and face. Sarah was up there for a while, but she's had one too many glasses of wine now.

Still, if Chezza turned up at my door with Sarah saying "I've got some wine and me and Sarah are feeling adventurous..." I wouldn't say "no, leave. I'm watching Breaking Bad and I've no time for your wild suggestions"

Danny, there's part of me that thinks that, for married men, we may be a little too specific in our hypothetical Girls Aloud scenarios!

I'd feel more bad about that if I wasn't certain that the only reason Mrs Murdoch watches 'The Musketeers' is to drool over D'Artagnan.

Mrs 1982 thinks it's tennis I'm talking about right now as she watches the film About Time (which is utterly dreadful by the way).

But yeah, she can't complain... her tongue was on the floor as we watched Man of Steel the other day. Mind you even I took a second glance. Ridiculously handsome man!

Errr... Kimberly is my third place for Girls Aloud by the way... Just to bring this back to women...
