Bernie's Wacky Races?!
Just looking at the thread on awarding double points in the last race of the season, and I thought this isn't Bernie's only craziest idea?! Are there any other examples of him having an out there moment? I remember him talking about having artificial rain on tracks via sprinkler systems that come on at random ! Or there was the one where he wanted to have a short cut in the track that could be used to catch up with the guy in front! Has he had any others? What rules would you like introduced to make racing more fun? Refuelling? Faster cars? A topsy turvy grid so fastest cars start at back??

Let's not forget the hair-brained idea of his of scrapping the current points system and replacing it with a medal system of gold, silver and bronze like the Olympics. I am sure there are many more.

I'm still waiting for the one where sensors are embedded in the track and drivers get a random amount of points for driving over them (they also switch on and off at random, just to make it even trickier).

Or a kind of F1 supermarket sweep where you have to race around in F1 cars picking up random groceries and the one with the most expensive shopping bill gets top step on a podium which is made out of chocolate that can be distributed amongst fans after the race to attract more children and middle aged women to the sport

On the podium instead of bottles of champagne we have inflatable bottles with a random value of points underneath a rip off strip. "100 points Dale!"
