Not sure what's going to happen in t his game..
More bothered about watching what Ox can do again..
Its not a forgone conclusion for me.
I do think Moyesball is pretty decent against possession teams..

No I'm just not stupid.
I've never gone poor from it, and I've been doing it for at least 7 years. Nothing stupid about enjoying gambling, some people like a challenge.
I didn't realise you needed to give your money away to predict football results.
By all means keep making the bookie rich.

I don't drink like a chimney or smoke at all. So betting on the football is my vice. It's not a bad if you only gamble what you can afford.
Better than playing the lottery too. Better chance of winning.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'x'
You smoke like a chimney not drink like one.
One does not need a vice in life, gambling a just a waste if money.
Just write down what you think the results will be and pat yourself in the back for getting them right, you'll end up with more money come the end of the season.

Adds a certain threat to it, its very much for those who understand it and obviously it isnt something you enjoy. Oh and there's reward too. Just think of it as a hobby you can make money from.
If you don't like it, thats fine, I think blanket criticism of people who gamble is stupid.
I'm fine thanks, I'm ahead of them. And ive worked for them too. Its an industry millions enjoy at various levels. You don't have to enjoy it, but youre not smart for not doing it, its just your choice.

I enjoy it, dont bet alot.
Makes the saturday matches more interesting for me.
When I do win, it's great.
Nothing stupid about it at all.
As Dolph says its a challenge.

I put a £10 bet on 4 teams last month. won £250.
Decent return. £200 I have put away towards my holiday.
If I had'nt of bet that day, I would'nt have that money now.
So I like to look on the positive side of it.
Like has said before I put on what I can afford and dont go crazy.
I tell you what though, the most annoying time I did bet, few years back, did 6 teams to win.
5 mins to go 5 were winning comfortably, the other(villa) were drawing away at Boro.
Ended 0-0, if We had won, I would have won £700.
God I hated my team that day.

I never bet on West Ham. One, we don't win that much anyway but mainly because its a proper kick in the nuts. I'm miserable and out of pocket after that. I dont bet against us either, no fun in the win.

if only you had the option of cashing out, my mate recently had a good one. quite a few came in and he only had liverpool to win at home against villa to win 700 quid, he was offered to cash out for 550 and took it then villa shocked liverpool with the draw!

That would have been good.
My mate is with one bookie(cant remember which), where you can change your mind on the score with a few mins to go, on your phone.
You just top up your account i think.
I just go into the bookies and do it that way.

What a tool Giroud is though. Too big for his boots, cheating on his wife, announcing it on twitter & basically costing Arsenal the title with his shocking finishing all year. Well done Olivier
Can't stand the geezer & look forward to him being replaced & warming the bench next year. Shocking player.

Betting on an app can send you down a slippery slope. I nearly fell down the hole.
I usually spend around £30-40 a month on bets and break even or better for most months and obviously have dry spells but that expenditure can easily be doubled on an app. I once spent £30 in one weekend on the William Hill app and caught myself before I went further. Shut myself down for a few weeks after that. On the apps you see just how many different events in one match you can bet on, also when placing your stake you see the payback before the transaction so you might up each bet by a small margin.
Going into the shop is a lot better for me. Just pick up a couple of long coupons and a couple of goals coupons and away I go. Cheap and cheerful betting.
Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'x'
Betfair is the only way to bet due to the odds.(make sure you bet on the exchange site not the sportsbook)
If you lads want to limit yourself then just set one up on the site.. Do a loss limit or a deposit limit. you can limit yourself to 50 quid a month or something. If you also want to make sure you wont be tempted to bet on other sites then just sign up- take the free bets they offer you and then exclude yourself once that bet is won or lost)
Every single betting site has exclusion or bet options.
My limit is 2k so i cant ever go to mad

The exchange is losing its lustre Mysti, the prices of the sportsbook match up rather well and theyve made multiples so much easier. The cash out button is brilliant too, very clever stuff. They don't really want to be an exchange any more, they want to be a bookie. I like Betfair over Paddy and Victor, but those two are very good. Sky Bet's free bet club is very good too.
ANYWAY...
According to some research somewhere (they'll thank me for the name drop) the average age of the Premier League fan is 42. Sound about right?

Yeah sometimes when you cant multiple on Exchange I have to go sportsbook.Dolphin Ziggler wrote:The exchange is losing its lustre Mysti, the prices of the sportsbook match up rather well and theyve made multiples so much easier. I noticed once it added to my odds due to it being higher on the exchange.. But it doesn't allways do that.
You are right though- The exchange is getting worse..
But still the best odds, just.
They have also added the cash out to the exchange.. Which is good as you could never effectively lay on multiple betting

That was the point Olster, nothing really changes with a new manager if its for new managers sake! Although reports suggest some chairmen have acted rashly (not saying Norwich's would be) this year because they think the bonus points you can get from a new manager may be enough to keep heads above water. Sad state of affairs really.

At least Malky would ignite some passion in the stands
We missed our opportunity to change manager in December really. Obvious then Hughton wasn't good enough (if it hadn't been for months before hand)
Stuck with him till the end of the season, and if by some miracle we stay up we seem to be targeting Neil Lennon. Its looking bleak all round really

The guy made a mistake that probably a large number of married players and celebrities make. Still his form has been poor recently and I can't help but think that his personal problems at home and in the media is helping that any. Costing us the title is debatable nobody thought we would be a title contender this year anyway and I have always felt that while we are contender that this year it would be Chelsea or city. Plus nothing has been settled as of yet.

I don't think I have ever mentioned any of the sexual exploits of any United player and we all know the stories there. I think it is human, when you are rich, famous, and young to make these types of mistakes. I am not saying it is right, or smart, but these are human failings that happen all the time.
