A spokes person from the WRU has confirmed that Wales rugby team will be largely unaffected due to most of the good players being based in France.
The FRU has accused Wales of deliberately attempting to confound travel plans of French supporters.

Exactly the same thing happened to New Zealand, used to be part of Australia. Now just a dreary backwater.

To get on it NZ you need to embrace the dreary backwater nature of things. Once you do, it's fantastic.
Things in life, genrally turn out to be what you make them. I have a friend for instance who is insufferably rich, spends most of his life floating around the med in a super yacht with a bevy of lingerie models, when he's not at his chalet in Switzerland skiing with the same. He's completely miserable and bored most of the time. Can't hold up an end of a conversation and usually just gets drunk and morbid when he has his few friends over. Endless short discussions on the pointlessness of existence. Nothing is ever good enough for him and he regularly ends up an an irate fuming lather over a delivery of champagne that is short or incorrectly taxed or in sufficiently seasoned food. My bet is he'll have a heart attack and die, leaving all his money to a wild life sanctuary or something. Lesson is it's not where you are or what you have, or what you make of it, but just if you can find a way to be happy.

Why are you friends with him then? The lingerie models? That would be a good enough reason for me.
I like your thinking GE. I used to say this to my ex fiancé all the time. No matter what situation you find yourself in it is possible to make the most of it and be relatively happy rather than constantly lamenting what you don't have and be permanently miserable.

Ah that's lovely. A big furry Card the size of a two-storey gable end is being shoved through Cyril's *ahem* letterbox.

Clearly your mate is not too bright. He doesn't need bevy of the girls, just 6. One for each day of the week, bar Saturday which is dedicated to Rugby. At the end of Rugby season, he should spend his summers holding tryouts for the next season.GloriousEmpire wrote:rainbow-warrior wrote:GloriousEmpire wrote:Scratch wrote:Exactly the same thing happened to New Zealand, used to be part of Australia. He is drunk and morbid because he is living amongst the Swiss who have no sense of humour. And yachting on the Med? Dumb, really. Look at virtually every country bordering the Med. They are populated with truculent, criminal, warlike, or generally unsavoury types. Almost as bad as the coast of Somalia. If he had two brain cells to rub together, he would be in the Caribbean. Properly executed money can buy happiness. Your friend clearly is not too bright.

Then why not move somewhere your personality is better suited to? Are your feet nailed to something?

Gentlemen, I suggest you leave the personals banter out of it, use your PM's if you want to continue this discussion, there is very little in the thread that suggests it should continue open.

Yeah agreed BT. The spirit was light hearted and I'm saddened that this has devolved into another nationalistic and personal point scoring exercise, feel free to lock the thread and ill avoid light hearted sentiment in off weeks in the future.
