The Network
So... has anyone created an account yet? How do you get round the US-only thing?

It's not 'us only' apparently, you can still sign up and get the free trial. You just have to say that you live in america.

What did you give as a Zip Code? Did you just make one up?

Re: The Network
I'd just google zip codes, if you say you're from colorado get a zip code from there and so on.
Was down a lot yesterday though, what with everyone signing up at the same time.

Re: The Network
I would imagine that WWE may look to enforce their copyright over videos on Youtube more now that they have a paid outlet for their ppvs.
I read yesterday that it was a glitch that allowed you to view the Network from anywhere that has now been fixed.

Re: The Network
You can set up a WWE Network account using an american address, but you can't access your free trial until you provide payment information (like you do with Netflix etc) it then verifies the address you gave them on wwe.com with either your bank or paypal which obviously won't match therefore not being able to view content.....
Hope this clears it up, as far as I can see you can't do it

Re: The Network
I managed to sign up for the free trial yesterday evening, giving a made-up US address (in Goffey, CO, incidentally) but then using my Papal account as payment, and it was still working fine this morning with a VPN.
I'm still working out whether I think it's worth it with the 30-day blackout for Raw and Smackdown. I don't have Sky, so would still have to rely on "alternative sources" for the weekly shows, but at least I could get a decent HD stream of the PPVs for half their cost through Sky.

I didn't realise Raw and Samckdown would be delayed, it was announced as being available the next day originally wasn't it?

Re: The Network
I'm pretty sure that's how it was originally advertised, yeah, but I wonder if the relevant channels jumped up and down about exclusivity (much like Sky do with NFL GamePass).

Re: The Network
There have been issues with a couple big providers in America. One of them dropping their PPV scheduling of Elim Chamber and Mania (which seems daft).
Good to know the VPN works, havent tested it since creating my New York account.

Re: The Network
Wonder if they'll host all the old Raws theyve got one day. Would be immense, I've got two years of Raw n Smackdown from 99/00 downloaded but it would be easier from the Network

Re: The Network
So could I sign up for it using a made up US address and link it to my X Box 360?

Re: The Network
Loving the network so far, but one thing I wish it had was a function that NFL Game Pass has which is a slider to reduce the quality when you're on a crappy connection.

Anyone else having extra problems today? My one week trial ended, theyve since charged me twice and whilst saying I'm subscribed it won't let me watch any content
