Pardew's passion is unquestionable but he might have gone too far. Bloody brilliant though.

Still can't get over Pardew's actions.
FA going to have a field day with this ban!
Still 1-3 though. Arsenal folding before we thought they might, in terms of fixtures.

Bet for the day, Socal comes on later to cry about a conspiracy because of that penalty.

I've not seen it but I bet it's been blown out of proportion. I hardly think it's impressive as Zidane's.

john may think giroud is the worst striker in the world but he's not even the worst at arsenal. sanago is awful, never seen a striker with a poorer touch, it quite literally bounches off him

Yes I think they smashed us 7-3 at home; somehow though, Truro beat them 3-1 away today. #nologic

Looked like a proper headbutt, rather than a push with the head. Big ban and fine coming up for him.

It was a silly thing to do but when you grew up on Street Fighter II and mastered the Blanka headbutt it looks pretty timid.
That said he'll get a 6+ match ban I reckon. Does his previous come into account when dealing with these things? Not sure.

I expect his previous will be taken into account. He does have a bit of a short fuse, does Pardew.

Oh f**k it then.
Liverpool ten games to go, no Europe or cups to worry about, home games to Chelsea and Manchester City still to come.
I think I once had a mate who supported Liverpool. And they're not Citeh or Chelski. And I've had one eye on Liverpool pulling it off since September.
Oh f**k it.
Liverpool to win the title. I think they will. Just.
I think I want them to as well...that's the most worrying aspect. Well the Liverpool fans on here are more than decent. And I'm quite fond of Gerrard. And Rodgers. And Sturridge.
Yeah...go on Liverpool. All the way.

Don't think we'll win it but take 4 points off City and Chelsea and it's gonna get interesting.
As you say Duty, total focus on the league campaign. Cue the drop in form!

I'm rather scared that I look at Liverpool's last ten games and think that they can win them all.
Certainly, they can beat Citeh (who they perhaps should of beat at the Etihad) and Chelsea at home, particularly if Liverpool are at their best (like when they blew Arsenal away). Tottenham at home ditto.
United at Old Trafford ditto.
8 wins and 2 draws enough for the title?

Yes if Chelsea slip up vs Spurs or Arsenal and if Citeh slip up vs United or Arsenal.
Personally i shall stick with my start of season prediction of Chelsea winning the league.

The games between us, City and Chelsea decide the title in my opinion. Can we steam roll them at Anfield?

Arsenal were poor today. They really are missing Ramsey and Theo, it would be if we had one year with reasonable injury situation. That being said Stoke out played us and deserved their victory. We have to focus on the FA cup because we are basically out of the champion's league and basically out of the league with the Chelsea are playing and our own poor form. Right now a top 4 finish and the FA cup will make this a successful season and that should be our focus. The title is now really between Liverpool, Chelsea, and City.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'x'
Yeah, you feel it's gone for Arsenal. The big games are still to come in March & you can't be dropping points at Stoke. The F.A Cup is the most realistic trophy now to win, although you feel City will have the edge on Arsenal, if they met in the final or semi's. Another season of such promise looks to be fading away unfortunately, however, in all honesty injuries & a strike-force of Giroud, Bendter & Sanogo was never going to be enough to bring silverware to the Emirates. I think Arsenal are most likely to finish fourth now.

We're due a result against your lot, can feel it in me bones, a Nodge win to deck Liverpool's title hopes. Michael Turner with the winner providing sweet justice for the abuse he gets on the podcast

This is no time for jokes Olly, Unless it's Alan Pardew pathetic excuse of his headbutt.
"I was trying to push him away with my head"
Thoughts on lengths ban for him? most seem to be suggesting to the end of the season which is an over reaction. Most seem to reckon he should be out of a job.
