Scored it to Loma but was nice to win some pocket-money having bet on Salido at 5/1.

Personally I don't/can't reward dirty fighters (ergo why I don't rate Hoppo as has as some on here), constant low/nearly low blows deliberately missed by the appalling referee (almost as bad as the one Khan got vs LP) who also constantly warned Loma for holding but nobody held worse and refused to fight more than Salido did in the 12th, with no comment from the ref, when Loma was on the verge of taking him out.

Pretty rubbish fight, dirty spoiler versus over-matched amateur. In 12 rounds only 1 guy ever looked like winning the fight and that was Loma in the 12th.

Also think stiffer punishments should be handed out to people refusing to make weight (Salido didn't even try), e.g. 20% of your purse for every 1lb over - fine to go to the other fighter as compensation.

Crawford looked slick, but nothing special - would back Mikey Garcia to take him within the distance. Gamboa also.

I agree dirty fighting should be punished to the letter of the law, but if that happened Loma would have been thrown out for holding around the halfway stage. Same for Stieglitz in the second half of the Abe fight.

Either that or they would have been forced to actually fight resulting in an amaaazing war whoah!

Would Loma have held if Salido wasn't constantly low-blowing though?

How else do you protect yourself from low blows if the ref won't do anything about them?

A learning experience for Loma, I feel.........
