Six Nations Grandslam Still On
First topic message reminder :
Yes, my fellow posters. The six nations grandslam (of a sort) is still on.
One poster amongst us has successfully predicted 12/12 outcomes so far to sit on maximum points in the 6 Nations prediction thread.
Should that poster successfully predict the final three outcomes and hence the victor of the most tightly contested six nations in living memory, then it will be some achievement, possibly even never seen before in 606v2 competition history (fact check needed).
I'm sure you will all join with me in wishing Good luck to him! (Or her).

I think that (France winning) was a red herring, tbh. GE is far too clever!

No, he believed it and was damn near proved right. France were going to turn up for at least one game ...and they duly did.

Perhaps this says something about our comparative judgment?
For instance what some might called a WUM, others might see as a simple truth delivered straight up with no sugar.
You were going to predict a France win though werent you? Therefore you wouldnt have completed your so called slam.
Yep. I just got that wrong. I forgot to calibrate the predicatron with the sentimental farewell of bod and that Steve Walsh was unlikely to aid France to hand the tournament to england.
However my score prediction was close as were my disregarded predictions of England and Wales thumping wins. Either of those would've lifted me to the title.
No hard feelings from me though. I'll take a moral victory on it.

Walsh had nothing to do with the result. Ireland were marginally better.
You did enter predictions they were just really silly ones so you didnt deserve to win which is a pity as you had done really well prior to that.

England strolled their French game, Peter...but somehow France stumbled to a win. Nope, England didn't catch the good France, they just caught a bizarre scoreboard.

Ah. There's nothing like denial. I find it vastly less mentally taxing than logic and reason.

Well I can't fathom how anyone could have predicted Scotland being completely dire and losing all of our matches bar scraping through against Italy. How do you do it?

A disappointing end to a promising campaign.
Looks like the French have scuppered the dreams of a Kiwi fan (again).
Bad luck GE.

Never hear so much whinging from someone who did not care if he won or not.
As it happened you lost, suck it up. Typical kiwi gracious in defeat.

Well typical of when kiwis loose. There were extenuating circumstances. A multinational plot, if you will.
