Garcia vs Gamboa - Not going to happen

So Bob Arum strikes again....

Mikey Garica saying Gamboa priced himself out, yet Arum has said in an interview that Gamboa isn't getting a shot as he mucked him around by failing to turn up to the Rios press conference when they were supposed to be announcing a fight.

Why won't Arum just die? Maybe that's just a bit harsh, but something needs to change and if death is it then so be it. No one man is bigger than millions of fans and his greed is such I have no care for his wellbeing.

Am happy Juanma got splattered everywhere as it ruined the super fight between him and Gamboa. A fight Arum also refused to make saying he wanted to build it up a bit more.

The guy is a top A grade greedy cuncht.

Bob will just be letting the fight 'marinate'. Just like he did with Gamboa vs JML. That worked out great.

Gamboa has gone from 'going off the boil' to 'starting to rot'.

Sad for such a talent to go that way, Bob Arum is just an 'orrible Kumquat.

But why is Garcia coming out with a different excuse than Bob??

He is going to put Garcia in against Pacquiao in the next 18 months so hes trying to protect him. Thing is though if Garcia winds up fighting tosh and has an off night then its just another skid mark on the underpants of boxing.

Think Mikey Garcia is too good and too professional to have an off night.

He's already SFW world champ and divisional #1, having done the same at FW, and I'd back him to clean up LW within a few fights also.

Proper 3 weight world champ.

Not sure whether LWW would be too much of a stretch though, he's big for his weights but not as much as Broner is/was.

Vomiting into a gym bag on his way to the Juanma weigh in and then not making weight could have been a problem had his body switched off for just a second during the actual fight.

Maybe that was a bit of a kick up the rear for him. Think he was boiling down a bit too much.

gamboa looked absolutely amazing a few years back, but with 2 fights since 2011 he really has been left out high and dry. on form i think he beats anybody but looks like his career is going to end up bit of a non event. shame.

HBO wouldn't approved Uchiyama vs Garcia in a unification fight(WBA/WBO/Vacant Linear title)

Not quite sure who HBO want Garcia to fight...
