Is Stuart Broad a Poor Loser?
I like Stuart broad. He's a talented sportsman and an assertive personality who doesn't back away from a fight.
However I can't help but feel the England T20 captain had made himself look a little foolish by his words following today's loss to NZ.
If he hadn't been so utterly taken apart by his opposite number and so solely accountable for England's loss, then perhaps what is now coming across as childish bitter whining might perhaps have at least looked worthy of a captain defending his troops.
As it is he's in the humiliating position of having said "it's not sour grapes, the kiwis agree" only to be directly contradicted by NZ players who've said "perhaps Stuart would feel less aggrieved if he hadn't lost." Or words directly to that effect.
Bad form stu.

i agree he did cross the line.....and this must be a violation under some clause...that covers " openly criticizing umpires"
neverthless such minor offences do not apply towards the BIG 3 nations and their captains I guess these days

When your father is a match referee, you're immune from any action....

But he's a model of good etiquette and behaviour.
I've never heard him utter a negative word... but then again... I don't follow his every public comment.
Look at him now walking out for the toss - so relaxed and cool. Speaks very well too. The Aussies could learn a lot from him.

I wonder if his personality is blooming now that KP has been removed,

I am not a big fan of Broad as a person...but I'd rather have him as a captain over the Strauss / Cook type mild mannered good boys

i wasn't expecting that also...as you can see it's severe for the captain from one on the BIG-3

"Shame to be fined. Back to bland and unopinionated press conferences I'm afraid," Broad has tweeted.
Will he be fined a second time for dissent?

50%? Would that be fair?
Should he keep the England captaincy? Or has he disrespected the role?

I would expect no less from a manager, captain, player, boot polisher from any team. Loyalty

I see he is now rolling out the excuse mat and claiming to have a sore knee.
Sigh - another England captain to put up there with Nasser Hussain.
