TBF you support West Ham. That's been the reaction since the 80s?

If Sunderland really want to stay up, they must 100% be winning tonight's game. They have already screwed up home games where the 3 points should of been there for the taking. Failure to win tonight and i think they will be joining Cardiff and Fulham in the Championship next season.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'x'
Recent rumours saying that Southampton have an outstanding £27m transfer fee debt from last seasons summer window. I say, as good as he has been this season, it is Pochettino's fault because he has spent money, that clearly hasn't been there, and it has come from loans. Now, it almost looks as if the club might be heading in the wrong direction towards financial difficulties again. Pochettino also tried to get himself out of it by saying that he might quit because of Cortese's departure. I'm afraid backroom management doesn't work that way. As good as Pochettino is at getting his players to perform, his backroom play is simply shocking if he has put the club in the current financial state. Obviously not as bad as what it might be, but if it does turn out to be 'worst comes to worst', then I'm sorry, but he is to blame for this. In my opinion.

This is the best chance Sunderland will get to win a game. In their position, fixtures won't come any easier now. They are back in front of their home crowd, coming away from Anfield, with a defeat, but a spirited performance and COULD have deserved a draw if they got that goal which they were close to and WHU's away form has been nothing but woeful recently, or over the last couple of seasons in fact it hasn't been great to say they are in a "mid-table" position (but when is there ever a mid-table position now).

Not sure how any outstanding transfer fees is the managers fault, the board mainly Cortese before he left will have sanctioned the deals.

i wouldnt be too worried if i was a saints fan, they could pretty much cover what they owe in the sale of one player, shaw. who if rumors are to be believed is on city, chelseas and uniteds radar. add that to permanently shifting osvaldo they break even easy enough without decimating there whole squad
not sure id blame the manager either, the manager is given a budget by the then chairman cortese. if anyone is too blame its him.

You expect us to win? On the basis of what?
Southampton have spent pretty big since coming up, but I doubt its debt they cant manage.

Everton are the hardest fixture we have left whilst everton have to play Arsenal, Southampton, united and city.
Put your money on a draw between everton and Arsenal next week.
I agree that we are certainly the better squad than Everton but with all the injuries and lack of form CS I wish I could be so confident. But you are right we do have the easier schedule remaining but Everton have won 5 matches in a row and I wouldn't look for them to necessarily lose to Southhampton or City. Still we should be ok if we can get some points on the road against them and hope that City in the midst of a title run knocks them back a place.

Hahaha brilliant, hes already having a pop, only way we can hurt Sunderland is on set pieces, very easy to deal with elsewhere. What a boobie that man is, since he walked into that club I wanted them to go down and I enjoyed taking the three points from him.

Yeah, big weakness is crosses into the box as well, it depends on how the game flows.

I'd predict a 5-1 scoreline. You'll tonk us.
Liverpool really should be favourites for the league, I'm not sure how they're not really. I don't think they're the best team but they've to the momentum and the home fixtures

I think it should be a good game, whilst West Ham are all but confirmed as safe, there fans and big sam will still be expecting them to cause an upset, should be a good atmosphere and with Caroll as well looking to prove a point, should be a great game.
Im really looking forward to the Everton vs Arsenal game though.

Albion to win with a late Berahino winner, he then does the whole boxing the corner flag celebration to show he's over being given a good slapping by Jimmy Morrison after the Cardiff game.
At least I hope so anyway
