Not that bad a side, i'd imagine its a shoot out today between Fellaini and Carrick to see who plays in Munich, would 100% play fletcher which shows how rubbish fellaini is when i'm wanting someone who has been out nearly 2 years, complete waste of money.
Good to see Jones/Smalling playing together, can't wait for Evans to be back though, superb player and very underrated.

No chance is it weaker than ours. We are there for the absolute taking, no confidence, no Remy, Debuchy, Krul or Sissoko.

Those days are long gone, now we've partnered him with another useless failure, who couldn't even cut it in the Bundesliga.
Manchester United to win by 3 or 4 is my most optimistic outcome on this game from a NUFC viewpoint.

Southampton were the better team first half Truss and the game changed on an absolute shocking piece of officiating by the linesman, how he doesn't see Silva offside I don't know. What was worse was Owen and Darke seemingly ignoring it and focussing on the first pass until the guys at half time pointed it out.
That said it was a penalty though, you can't stick your leg out behind you and make contact with the player at waist height, stupidity from Lovern not sure why people are complaining about it.

Yeah. Both pens were fine.
The offside goal killed the game.
Citeh in the end deserved it. But the scoreline wasn't reflective of the game.

first pen wasnt a pen, his leg slightly brushed dzeko who then carried on before realizing he had been touched and threw himself to the ground. he takes a whole step after the initial contact, if that touch was enough to be constituted as a foul it would have hindered him straight away.
calling them fouls you might as well make it a non contact game now

He could argue the touch knocked him off his stride ever so slightly causing the defenders to be able to get back and challenge for the ball, seen penalties given for a lot less without complaints like that.

he can claim what he likes, you can clearly see he's able to run through untill he decides to fall over. you are allowed to touch people in the box. just because then that person falls over doesn't mean its a pen. dzeko won that pen by diving, and yes we do see it a fair bit but still doesn't mean its right
defender clearly didnt help himself by putting himself in a stupid position with a tackle like that

Did you complain like this in midweek for the Schweinsteiger red card? It was a penalty, laws of the game are pretty straight forward and Lovern was stupid enough to put himself in that position.

which bit of the rules says it a penalty? don't think anybody can say dzeko was clearly impeded there, his leg getting brushed isnt a foul
not sure what schweinstegiers red card has do with anything? the tackles were nothing alike, if your suggesting its just my anti city biased then you'd be wrong. while i don't like them id rather have them win the title over Liverpool so it was a good result in that sense

I'm suggesting you probably had no issue with Rooney doing his best swan impression to get a player sent off, but you have an issue with what was a clear penalty.

nope dont like any player diving, the only way you can start getting on top of the issue is by giving yellows and stop giving really soft pens when people go down under very little contact

Agree Compelling, can't believe the United hierarchy actually believe the 'Fergie left a poor squad that Moyes couldn't do anything with' story. Moyes is a clown, out of depth, no european experience, tactically inept, can't be trusted with money......yet he's apparently the right man for the job.
