Any 30/70 in our favour the ref just gives to Liverpool anyway. Having a shocker. Suarez wasting time gets nothing.

Ridiculous from the gunners, I could see trouble brewing. Now again we are in a dogfight with Everton for 4th place. Arsenal's form is just terrible right now. We had all the ball and created little while Everton opened us up on the break.

Fuming. The only decision he gave our way he still wouldn't have noticed the massive foul on Carroll by Skrtel if the lino had overturned it. Any high foot was our fault, any push in the back went unnoticed, the wrestling on Carroll in the penalty area was comical and he just let it go. Then he gives that penalty.
Worst part is, the arrogance that comes from that club will see them all feeling justified with decisions and the outcome.
Refs in this league need a talking to cos they can't see the wood for the trees when it's the big clubs.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'x'
West Ham played really well, very difficult to break down and dangerous on the counter, decisions went against them so Liverpool are very fortunate but no title winning team has ever not had luck on their side in some games.
Can see why both the equaliser and the penalty were given, the equaliser could easily be seen as quite soft if not given, think Mignolet was going to drop the ball anyway, the second one probably shouldn't have been a penalty but Adrian definitely follows through. Well done to Flanagan for not making the most of it.
A draw would have been a fair result but glad to have got through a difficult away game. Always going to have games like this on the run in. Wasn't happy with Rodgers' changes though, think he got it totally wrong. The diamond worked against United because they were playing with so little width, the same is not true of West Ham, so resorting to the diamond was poor particularly when taking off a creative force who is good in tight areas, Lucas offered very little and not sure anything would have been created so the penalty was a let off.
Sturridge was really poor, I'm surprised Rodgers didn't take him off sooner. Snatching at chances, not making particularly good runs, a game to forget for him. Suarez looked most dangerous, unlucky not to score one of the outrageous shots. Gerrard had a good game again and never looked in danger of getting a booking, the pass for the first penalty was world class, benefit of him in a deeper position is to give him a lot more space to make fantastic passes like that. Thought Carroll was dealt with well, but Downing had too much space on the left.
Onto City who I think could very well play for the draw which is dangerous because we've shown today that when teams do sit back and press well, not the best at breaking them down. Need teams to step forward a little and give the space to work with.

Liverpool's to lose now if you ask me. Got all the momentum, playing fantastic football and winning close games crucially. I think the crowd will play its part and I can see Liverpool winning a close, well fought game.

Neil Adams will take over
Mat saw that performance yesterday, I've seen it for weeks, those players aren't playing for him, the fans turned ages ago, it was toxic on Saturday
Now weve given ourselves a chance, get everyone pulling in the same direction for the final month
It's desperate sure, should've happened months ago, months ago

I see the media have all jumped to the defence of nice man Hughton, yeah just cos he kisses your a55e5 doesn't make him a good manager
I'd love to know, just love to know what people have seen from us recently that makes them think sacking Hughton isn't a good idea?

Olly I was on the Hughton wasn't good enough bandwagon before you.
Doesn't change the fact that its pure desperation to install the U18 manager. Hughton doesn't have the worst record setting up a side to neutralise the big teams, Suarez aside.

At this point to sack him and install a novice doesn't make a lot of sense however.

It is desperation, I've said that, but we're in a pretty flippin desperate state!!
Adams will get the fans onside, and it's not as if the players were putting in performances for Hughton, we've been utter dross for ages. They even resorted to putting up goddamn motivational messages from fans in the dressing room for gods sake

The plan must be to get a reaction from the playing staff and get something from Fulham. Very likely to stay up if defeat is avoided there.

Re: Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'x'
Too late and a completely bonkers decision IMO. 6 games to go? Crazy.
Should of gone around November time, club spent a lot of money and should be pressing for a top half finish without question. But they have very much underachieved this season, and regardless if he kept them up or not Hughton should of gone at the end of the season.
Now this can go one or two ways, Norwich will stay up and the chairman is a genius, they employ Mackay/Lennon etc and they move on to fulfill there ambitions or they go down and its a Wolves type situation.

Cos the assistant manager was Colin Calderwood and just as hated as Hughton. Hughton, Calderwood and Trollope come as a three man management side, so getting rid of just Hughton really wouldn't change anything.
Reserve team manager is just appointed new guy, Neil Adams knows the club, and has had great success with the U18's as well.

NORWICH City can confirm Chris Hughton, Colin Calderwood and Paul Trollope have parted company with the Club with immediate effect

I disagree with you when you say Norwich have "very much underachieved" this season.
I don't understand how you can say Norwich should be "pressing for a top half finish without question".I have a question, albeit a rhetorical one - is this Norwich you are talking about?
Hughton did a magnificent job last season - following on from a brilliant manager in Paul Lambert. To have 32 points this season is very reasonable at this stage.
Wonder had the Chief Exec the guts to tell Hughton to his face? Maybe he cried again.....................hope they are relegated along with Cardiff & Fulham.

Hey Mr Cregan where were you yesterday? Or post Swansea? Think Hughton did a good job in those games? Or maybe after any of the last seven away games we've lost in a row?
I'll invite you to watch every single one if our hands this season, and then make your conclusion about Hughton
I'm not getting into the little old Norwich debate again, cos you know you're speaking straight out of your ar5e
Of course Adams isn't some footballing genius, but he'll get the fans behind the team and install some belief in the players

Statistically speaking the new manager inspiring a turnaround is Love sacks.
Hell we have 1 point out of 9 since sacking Davies, with home losses to the mighty Charlton and Millwall
