Waiter! Another scapegoat please!
The problem with scapegoats is that you always need another one.
As reality has shown, getting rid of your best player is rarely a good move.
England now look clueless, hopeless and helpless.
The mediocre remnants will have to get over their egos and come to terms with their own inadequacy before England can hope to move forward again.

Netherlands thumping them was so fun to watch and hear, Ashley Giles should have rather quit than England selectors dropping KP.
I wish ICC rule be changed and if a nation doesn't want a player to be in their team and if the player has dual nationality/citizenship then he should be allowed to play for a different nation.

Completely disagree with that. he made his bed when he left SA and made critical comments about our cricketing system, so now he has to lie in it.
If there was such a rule, I would not support the Proteas if he was selected.

Yeah, even sans Kallis and Smith, I'd rather he stayed as far away from S.A. as possible (unless he signs up for the Lions). The rule also sounds like it should be called the Sour Grapes Rule....
That said, I wouldn't particularly mind guys like Smith, who are clearly done at the top, representing the Associate nation they qualify for... they could really speed up the development, and give juniors something, to look up.
