JEsus Christ..... Bradley round? Hard one to score some good flurries from Manny but some of the right hands Tim landed genuinely buzzed Manny twice.

Silly from Bradley had him winning that round, he could have maybe thrown it away with that stupid stuff at the end there. Don't know after that. 3-3 for me.

Manny's though 4-3 Manny.

It's a bad gameplan from Bradley, one that he's done using his heart rather than his head. He's just trying to throw home runs against Manny it ain't working.

Tim showed exactly how you beat Manny there, circle around the ring to his right, he literally becomes clueless as to how to get close. Manny doesn't know how to cut the ring off he just follows. Too late now.

I think Bradley burnt himself out in the first half looking for a KO. Or else realised he wasnt getting it and had to change tactics.

Meh, good win for Manny, good performance, he's deffo lost a step though. I have it 116-112, same as Lederman apparently =S I must be wrong.

Re: Tonights Action *Spoilers*
I had pacman winning by 2 or 3 there. Good fight although from round 4 onwards, Bradley was acting seriously strange. Hope he is ok.
Pacquiao should retire, does not have the same power or killer instinct at the level anymore and je really has nothing to prove.
Mayweather handles him easily and JMM is just too bloody repetitive.
Retire is champ, you have done enough.

Why have a third fight? Pacquiao's beaten him twice out of two.

Re: Tonights Action *Spoilers*
Pacquiao is 35 so he will never look as good as he did 4/5 years ago, however he just beat one of the top guys in the division with relative ease (twice if you include the 1st fight).
Manny beats any other fighter out there except mayweather where it will be close in my view.
Manny has at least 3 more fights in him before he retires.

Mayweather will be loving that fight. Perfect result for him to move in on Pacquaio. Pacquaio won so is at the top again but he is now sufficiently past it to be ripe for the taking. I think this fight will finally come off within 12 months.

Re: Tonights Action *Spoilers*
Why retire? He makes $20m a fight and took literally no damage in that fight (against the supposed #3 P4P fighter).
Still think his speed would cause Mayweather problems. Yes, the killer instinct has diminished but Manny Pacquiao the boxer is still very much a live animal. The footwork was sensational at times.

Re: Tonights Action *Spoilers*
Good fight - I had it 3-3 after the first six, but Pac pulled away with such ease in the last six, you'd have thought it's Bradley's first dance till midnight. Had it 9-3 in the end. Nothing for Bradley to be ashamed of, if anything, even though I scored this the same as the first bout, it felt a lot closer, well until the halfway mark. Also would like to extend my thanks to Chris, whose pi5s-poor prediction gave me second thoughts at the bookie.

Re: Tonights Action *Spoilers*
My scorecard read '10:10 pac shot' after the first round. The blurring handspeed has gone.
Thought Bradley looked sharper early on, though the first few rounds in particular were hard to score. Watching without commentary I thought it was a bit closer than most, but Bradley stopped working in the mid rounds and gave them away to pac pushing the fight. That said my sky plus ran out in the 11th so I've 2 rounds missing.
Bradley's always come across as a good guy, but his attitude in the build up (whatever the reasons) and his showboating in the fight, don't suit him. His desperation to land that one big shot may also have cost him the fight.
Chuckling at Alex's comments, I was pretty bored watching two guys swing and miss, whilst you were thinking we could have a FOTY contender fella! Haven't seen the stats but looked like a lot of gloves, arms and clean air were hit.

Re: Tonights Action *Spoilers*
Not one of Pacquiao's greater performances, but I think this one should go down as one of his very best career wins / achievements. Hats off to him.
Agree that it wasn't all that good a fight, which surprised me a lot more than the result itself. I thought the revenge factor (on both sides, in a sense) and the fact that both men were going to have to change it up a bit to correct their mistakes from last time would see a bit upturn in quality, but that didn't really come to fruition.
Like a lot of others, I was a bit confused by Bradley's tactics. He was well in it up to the halfway point, but that was crazy stuff at the end of the sixth, throwing away a round he was winning otherwise. He didn't really seem to recover from that, for whatever reason, and looked a tired, wary and tentative man from about the eighth to the eleventh.
Fair play to Pacquiao, though. He's clearly quite a way past his best, but still gets a result against an unbeaten, younger pound for pounder. I thought his lateral movement was much better than the first fight, and there were a lot fewer slow starts in rounds as well. He even started showing that he can still call on a decent jab and some countering skills late on!
Not the kind of fight I expected or hoped for, but as I said yesterday my biggest wish was just that there was no controversy over the result. At least that box got ticked.

Bradley's tactics were stupid, he's a guy with average power who looked for the one big shot and threw wild punches. Pacquiao was able to pick him off all night, I had it 116-112 to Manny.

Re: Tonights Action *Spoilers*
Pacquiao 3-5 years would've KO'd someone like Bradley. Bradley is a pretty average boxer. Not sure why he was ever so hyped up.
Anyway even a lesser version of PacMan has TWICE beaten Bradley.
Now we get the possibility of yet another PacMan-JMM showdown(no disservice to Mike Alvarado, but JMM should be beating him).
Whereas Bradley's got equally few options. Provodnikov rematch? Rios? Jessie Vargas?
Slim pickings at Top Rank...

Think Pacquiao's contract ends in September, can see him self promoting his last few fights.

But the WBO review commission reviewed the fight and the decision was that PacMan won a UD.

If not for the cold war there would be penty of exciting, legacy enhancing options, but as it is all he can do is cover old ground in less exhilerating fashion than he would have in his prime.
His punches looked so normal. They used to be so abrupt in the way they'd happen before you'd notice. Still got the timing, power, balance, footwork and experience to beat the vast majority and Bradley's a much better win than, say, Maidana...

I thought pacquiao looked very impressive considering he was facing the p4p#3. Pacquiao dominated the fight and won it 10-2 on my card.

Re: Tonights Action *Spoilers*
Bradley isn't the p4p#3 and didn't deserve that lofty position.
Manny looked good, winning 9-3 on my card, but he wasn't a fraction of the fighter he used to be. A step up in level/class to Tim, certainly, but nothing like the decimating buzz-saw he was in 06-09 type time.

Only the SAC can overturn/change a result, not a sanctioning body like the WBO.
