Andy Carroll was terrible today, has he justified his huge £15 million price tag?

For me he has not done enough in hios 2 years at West Ham to justify being their main striker next year. West Ham need a new striker.

palace have only taken 7 (i think- 4 of everton and 3 off chelsea)- but hardly lost anything to the bottom half teams/i think under pulis we only lost to norwich(his first game)

that is pretty telling ..

Sunderland have really feiced this up

With what service? Anything good into the box he won. The team played crap around him and the tactics into him are appalling. The diagonal long punt from half way came out 50 times and it was useless. More importantly, we won't be able to attract anyone better.

He's been playing wrong, thats pretty obvious, and whilst he is part of a failing team, there is no one we could get that would be playing any better in that side currently.

Signing Mata excited me, signing Oscar wouldn't have done, he works reasonably hard but he's lacking a bit of guile.
