Euro Court Challenge to "Project Players"
Inside word is there is about to be a challenge to certain contractual terms made via the European Court of Human rights.
Forcing players to waive national eligibility is to be ruled illegal to safeguard the youthful and foolish from signing away their inalienable human rights and identities.
A media led campaign pre-empting the move is already underway. Terms such as "deals with the devil" and "crossroads" and Robert Johnson analogies will be in heavy circulation.
Looks like shag has already started the phony war by questioning the "mental fortitude" of some players who chose to abandon their heritage for the promise of future rewards.

It's "inside word", Portnoy. You can't get more legit than that. Shame on you for not trusting GE's gospel.Portnoy's Complaint wrote:No chance of a heads up on any source is there Gloria?
Thinking about it, "Inside Word" sounds like a celebrity gossip rag so GE may just be quoting from that.

So they get a bigger contract for signing as a project player and then turn there back on it! Will they give the club the difference between what they would have secured had they not been a project player.
Anyhow sounds like something a mercenary would do...turns his back on his country for money, surprised people like that will turn their back on their adopted nation???

Why not just copy FIFA. They've been through this. Recognised it as a problem and put in place regs.
