I think I prefer Rooney's. It feels a little bit more magic, Shelvey is standing right in line and kicks the ball back where it came. Rooney picks his out.

oh im not denying there both great goals, but if the keeper tracks the ball instead of turning his back and running away from it he can catch rooneys pretty easy. thats why shelveys is better for me
all about rooney taking advantage of the situation. if the keeper wasn't switched off for that second rooney may not have gone for it.

cant agree with that rooney seen him off his line yes, but he had no idea that the keeper would be poor in getting back and run in the totally wrong direction. he ran right away from it and it bounced in quite a few yards out. if that was my keeper i would have been disappointed with him

Shelveys is right in the top corner, the keeper had no chance whatsoever
Rooney's bounces inside the six yard box, if Adrian hadn't been stumbling around like a drunk it would've been an easy save

i think the point is is that keepers do it every game loads of times- its just not enough try that shot and then also execute it perfectly. the flight of the ball sliced it in- the keeper couldn't track the shape.
nice power fade,

No Sturridge for Liverpool, unchanged team.
Liverpool starting XI: Mignolet, Johnson, Flanagan, Skrtel, Sakho, Gerrard, Allen, Lucas, Coutinho, Sterling, Suarez

seen that people were saying we werent that different first half and i have to disagree. norwich set up very defensively and were tough to break down.
the massive thing yesterday between moyes and giggs team was that we didnt let up. we kept our foot down like we would under fergie and eventually when you keep that postivity mistakes will start happening. teams will eventually crack, under moyes we would have sat back at 1-0 and invited norwich into it

Everytime that Chelsea have lost, i look at the Shed site and they go ballistic about the ref being a **** or from somewhere near Liverpool.

Rooney goals seem to always get a 20% skill level bump just because it's Rooney. Great vision, but not quite execution

i know you were poor olly and there are still big questions such as playing a 442 with two poor cm's, that we will be found out against better teams. but ive been OT a fair few times this season and that was by far and away the best performance. our away form was decent under moyes against the weaker sides, we were shocking at home under moyes

The reaction after the Sunderland penalty/game last weekend was ridiculous. Penalty everyday of the week.
Chelsea are the worst losers in the league for me.

Don't think Adrian covered himself in glory, but he was caught out and the ball moved in the air. He lost it for a second and that was him done really.
That is a weakened Chelsea side, I'm happy I went big on Liverpool to win this

Lampard to roll back the years, knock two in and make me a princely fee. Chelsea could also just win, which would make up for atrocious Nodge call.

A Chelsea win could happen. Anything is possible.
But, would both sides of Manchester still be happy
Would Utd fans be happy with either City back in it or Liverpool. Tough one.

Well, Fulham realistically can't catch us due to GD, Cardiff now can't catch us. So Norwich will have to win both of their last games to catch us, and Sunderland would have to get 6 points from 3 games. I think we may have gotten away with it

As it stands Sunderland are up on goal difference with a game in hand on the bottom three.

rather have city win it, cant stand the scousers and all the scouse media bias. we'll never hear the end of it if they win it
fair few horrible scousers ive met, who are the first to cry about justice for the 96 then turn around and call me a munich, idiots. the liverpool fans on here arent too bad. think it helps not many of them are from liverpool

Compelling. Zaha is a brilliant player. You just haven't seen him play obviously. You can't Base it on this game when they are down to 10 men. However he has totally changed games for Cardiff in the past. And also done the only effective thing this half for Cardiff winning a corner.
I would bet you my house you are wrong about him. He is possibly the best young talent out there

I would say the bottom three are pretty much dead and buried now, highly unlikely that they're going to win both their remaining games, glad to see the back of Cardiff, the other two i'm not that bothered about.

well hope your right mysti, i seen him few times for palace and he looked very raw at best. watched him quite a few times in this cardiff team and he hasnt stood out at all in a very poor team. i know its not easy being an attacking player in a poor team but i would have thought he would have been able to stand out more if he is as good as people have been saying

He was outshone by both Januzaj and Lingard in pre season, hoping to see Jesse get a few opportunities next season along with Powell, neither should have got out on loan in my opinion.mystiroakey wrote:Compelling. Not going to talk about Zaha any more- but just remember - as what seems to allways happen with my predictions on players and teams- rememebr this in a years time!

You just dont realise it. You are wrong.
End - we can have different opinions - thats fine- just leave it and wait and see. But you clearly know nothing about the player- do you watch under 21's?
did you watch pre season united?
did you watch palace last season
did you watch the cardiff games that when he came on they came back and drew and won the game by totally changing the game(v that 3-3 game and norwich)

I did watch our pre season (like I said Januzaj and Lingard performed better) and how he performed in the championship sadly doesn't show a lot, it is a massive step up in class to the premier league.

harrier no disrespect to you. but i watched a lot of pre season and i watched him every game at palace , and i watch ever under 21 game, and i have clearly seen more cardiff games than you. And i dont want to start an argument- but you just dont have a clue in regards to him.
If he stays you have a great talent- but the lad needs helping out big time. Something fergie would have done.
Put it this way he is 10 times the player that bolasie is, and bolasie is performing very well in the PL.

U21's is no gauge on a player I am afraid.
Zaha isn't good enough for United, never was. He had a good season in the championship, as do many other players. Palace got rid of him when they knew they'd get the most possible. All laughing about it now. I'd take Puncheon over Zaha anyday.

Sorry you're just wrong Mysti, like any player we sign I take an interest in him and have seen a lot of him and am just not that impressed. He looks good in games at under 21 level and in the championship because that is his level, he's not good to make the step up.
It's ludicrous to suggest I don't have a clue about a player who plays for my team.
