Ezekial Jackson Torture Rack
I know some submissions are not real but would this submission actually hurt the opponent?

Being bent over someone shoulders, spinal bones bent and doing that not nice rubbing feeling, yes.

Don't rate the move to be honest I remember Lex Luger using it

I don't rate the move that much either but if Jackson is using it then it has to be better than that finisher he has been using

Re: Ezekial Jackson Torture Rack
I personally don't like guys like Jackson using submission finishers. It is a bit like the Masterlock thing... once someone breaks it, the move will have lost its mistique.
I would have preferred him to use something like the Dominator move that Farooq used or a big spinebuster / powerslam.

I don't think they trust him enough to do anything remotely complicated, he looks great but he's worse than useless

I personally think it looks devestating, although it only really works on the smaller opponent.
I've said it before, and i'll say it again; give him the damn Spear!

Good shout Josh. I remember the British Bulldog breaking the Warlords full nelson at Mania 7 practically killing his career... Decent alternatives, I was think maybe stealing the Alabama slam from Bob Holly

Re: Ezekial Jackson Torture Rack
Jackson really isn't trusted with anything bar two or three simple moves:
The clothesline, scoop slam and a simple finisher is about the extent of his repertoire. He could probably do a lot more but the WWE doesn't want him botching and breaking guys' necks, which is fair enough. For this reason, I don't think we'll ever see another Brock Lesnar / Goldberg though, which is a shame.
As for the torture rack, though hugely impractical, it is a great finisher in wrestling for the theatrics and sells the user as a real powerhouse crushing the life out of the opponent.

Re: Ezekial Jackson Torture Rack
It suits him as a dominant powerhouse, no doubt, but I can't get on board with it being a finisher.
I would have thought something more impactful would be of the order - someone already mentioned the dominator, but any kind of powerslam performed by a man that size will look great.

Thought his mic work needed alot of polishing. I expected him to have a much gruffer voice; he reminds me of Lashley.

He also needs a simpler catchphrase as I always expect him to balls it up as he did the first time he tried to say it on Smackdown. And the back of his head looks funny. Lots of folds of skin like a Sharpei...

Re: Ezekial Jackson Torture Rack
Powerbomb? Its not as used as often as it used to be
Batista isn't there for his sit down one, and Undertaker only really uses Last Ride at PPV's. Maybe a falling one, like Kane used to do. Or would that be too much like Swagger's "Razors Edge" type move?

Not unless the WWE wants to write off a load of wrestlers with neck injuries. Zeke hasn't got the skills to do it.

Which is why I can't see him ever being more than the muscle in a group or with a Mark Henry style monster run.
Running powerslam or something simple like that could be in order.

Is it just me who thinks Zeke is going to kill someone someday with his power?

Probably, even Goldberg botched on occasional. Falling from a suplex height and with the size of Zeke (correct me if I am wrong but I imagine Zeke weighs more than Goldberg), if he doesn't get his opponents neck properly positioned when he falls, then he could bust a few heads.
One we haven't thought of....A Clothesline from Hell/3 Point Stance move. It would be believable due to Zekes massive arms, and the opponent would do all the work to make it believable (as long as Zeke connects right). I remember Billy Gunn taking a big Clothesline from Hell at a Royal Rumble (he and Road Dogg versus the Acolytes). He did a mid air flip and it looked awesome.
I think that is the safest and most believable option.

I hav'nt read all the comments as don't have time but how about Ahmed Johnsons Pearl River Plunge?
Think it would be perfect for him - it defo was for Ahmed and they are basically a carbon copy of each other

Some sort of tackle or clothesline would probably fit him in the long run. The spear is available now Edge is retired...
It's tough to make sure he has a finisher that appears impactful, while making sure he has the skills to do it.
If we stuck with submission moves he could bring back the bear hug?

Zeke is a million miles from being close to AJ in terms of ability and mobility

I don't tend to like guys like Zeke having submission finishers. I would like to see him use a move similar to Marcus Cor Von when he was in ECW New Breed, a kind of rugby tackle to the side.
Aside from that a big spinebuster would be good (and probably about his level).

I doubt he's got the ability to perform a Spinebuster safely to be honest

At this rate he will be left with the Finger Poke of Doom. Maybe bring back Mr Socko. Surely he cannot miss the opponents mouth!? That would be botch over botches.
Saying that those with a lack of ability were nearly always given moves, usually submissions, that they could not possibly mess up. Like the Giant Gonzalez and Khali.

What about the F5/Cyclone? Although, Brock Lesnar botched it once or twice...
All alternatively - 5 Star Frog Splash anyone?

Unless he was fighting Hornswoggle. I am sure even he could hit someone of normal size without missing.
