No..I quite like Clermont nothing on "wanting" sarries to lose. All that is obvious is that decisions are going Sarries way..as pointed out by Greenwood and Barnes...

Feckless Rogue really? I would rather Leinster beat Toulon or Clermont. I do think that sometimes Leinster fans puff out their chests but no more than others fans.

I don't know why you would want a side with over twice the salary cap of Saracens to triumph. You do know it's the money men of France in the top 14 calling the shots right?

Some days nothing goes for you at all - thats what is happening to Clermont today

Alasbut100ofus even if you make the assumption that we don't adhere to the cap, we would still have a smaller player wage bill than Clermont.

Sarries have totally out-thought Clermont today. They have not allowed Clermont to get any sort of momentum. Its been a pretty good match for the neutral. Only hope Munster can do the same tomorrow. I would love a Sarries Munster final

Nope - a a neutral on that point the Leinster / Irish hating from some English posters on here is obvious.

I have given up on the game. Just not entertaining any more. No need for sarries to do anything but defend the way they have been doing, Clermont have simply run out of ideas

My god, the roof is falling in on Clermont. Incredible performance by the Sarries pack.

Feel sorry for Vern Cotter - turned down the chance to start the Scotland job a year ago because of this unfinished business. Looks like another near miss.

Beshocked, Clermont are quite popular in Ireland because after all the HC meetings through the victories and defeats the Clermont fans have been great craic.

Ye have to say Clermont are my favorite team outside of Ireland.

Also wanted them to win cos i think they'd be easier for Munster (if they get there) in the final than Saracens.

That Sarries defence has been immense. Full fifteen man effort including the previously work shy Ashton who's been putting his body on the line. Gustard has done a number on Clermont, his defence has taken out the teeth of the Clermont attack especially the rolling maul.

Naw well played Sarries, very complete performance. Burger is immense.

They've contributed so much to the HC. But unfortunately bottled it at crucial times over the years. Today they were taught a lesson.

Ashton couldn't be far behind Burger for MOTM.

Another great try from Saracens. Simply blown Clermont away today.

I will hold my hand up and say that I expected Clermont to win by 15-20. Excellent match for Saracens.

Fantastic display by Saracens but presumably Clermont have been somewhat out of sorts by their normal standards to get such a beating. One thing is for sure though, Sky's commentators are an obnoxious pair of windbags.

I am not sure about this but I think this is now Clermont's biggest loss in the HC.

Great result for Sarreis England and St George 

just got in for the second half so I missed a lot of the controversy. Saracens just superb today, congrats to beshocked and all other Sarries fans on here, simply a magnificent performance (second half). Defense completely suffocated Clermont, and showed great flair with ball in hand too.

Ashton can't have done his England prospects any harm today, a very fine all-round effort from him. Farrell controlled it really well from FH, Barritt was tremendous in defense and well involved in attack, Goode also had a fine game at FB.

The pack superb to a man, Burger obviously, but Brits, Borthwick Brown, the Vunipola brothers (Mako second on the tackles made count) all put in huge shifts today.

Well deserved Sarries. Forget any of the difficult refereeing judgment calls - the best team clearly won on the day. Fascinated to see a Sarries-Toulon final.

As long as they stick to the rules, sure.

Sarries played very well, especially defensively, and fair play to them.

That is the end of this Clermont team - will never win HC, or its replacement, with those players.
Too many going past their sell by date.
I feel sorry for their supporters who are some of the best in the game and having watch that spineless performance and abject surrender.

The funny thing is Saracens have yet to really tested.
They were in the weakest group, losing twice to Toulouse, scrapped past 14 men, of Ulster, and smashed an abject Clermont.
Then again you can only beat what is in front of you
