Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'x'
First topic message reminder :
Superb by Mourinho. When are Liverpool at their most dangerous? The first thirty minutes of games; that is, generally, when they tear teams apart.
Not allowed to do that today, though, even against a very weakened Chelsea side. Liverpool didn't get a clear chance all game, and one costly, costly error gave Chelsea what they needed.
That and frustration, as Liverpool rapidly ran out of ideas and invention.
Back in City's hands now - another title won on goal difference?

For once, i agree with JM. Hazard won't be there much longer now. You can only get away (sometimes} with what he did if you are one of the best.
Hazard is not one of those.

So potentially in his first season Jose would've isolated and sold Mata and Hazard.

You just can't have in Hazard's case players criticise you as a manager, Beckham found that out!

hope hazard does leave, we'll be quite happy to take him off there hands just like mata
chelsea have lacked going forward this season with only hazard as there major threat, mourinho might as well just put 11 defenders on if thats all he wants
more hypocrisy from the man as i dont recall him whinging about ronaldo not tracking back

If Hazard's up for grabs I'll take him. He'd be a perfect fit for Utd on the wing.

I think Bayern have Draxler viewed as a long term replacement for Robben or Ribery. I can't see Hazard going anywhere, he made a defensive mistake, the team went out & some comments got said which have been blown out of proportion. Blow over very quickly. As for United getting Hazard.....yeah ok.

Can't see Chelsea selling Hazard. He's their best player and one of the top 3 players in the league.
Would be sheer madness.
Mata was understandable since he was unfavoured by Mourinho but Hazard has been Chelsea's main man.

I can understand a player like Hazard getting frustrated in the Chelsea side, in the same way I imagine Mata got frustrated. They are attacking players who want to express themselves creatively so I imagine being constricted as he has been since December gets incredibly annoying especially when there are teams like PSG sniffing around who do play attacking football and would give him a lot more freedom.

He will be gone.
When a manager says a player does not give 100%, that is pretty detrimental to a player. And the player not liking the managers tactics
Managers and players say plenty against each other and keep the faith but that is irreversible.

Its an interesting one. I mean, who would have honestly thought Mata would go to utd. We all wondered why Jose didn't want to play him, and it was because he wouldn't work as hard in defence as he does in attack, and off he was to utd.
Seems a very similar scenario with Hazard. To say comments like that about a player can almost destroy a relationship between player and manager. It seems an awkward fit and I can honestly see Chelsea accepting a big bid from PSG if it comes in the summer, and Jose will replace him with someone who fits his philosophy, simple as.

I'll be surprised if PSG spend much this summer, I suspect the FFP will although lenient this time will give them a stern warning on spending this window.
They could always do a Hazard/Cavani swap though.

Yup. Beckham played many games wide and had no pace but he could whip a mean ball in.

Just think about when palace are the best team in the world and barca fans will be commenting on playing like palace in there good games because they wear there strip. just wait lads- its gonna happen to us when crystal palace becomes the in place in london to be again- once that chinese trillionaire rebuilds the 'crystal palace' and the tube line gets there. we will then get a buyer that has more money than sense but also be an ethical chap and understands footie.
And then i woke up

Crystal Palace is the best name for any team in the world- why would you change that stylish name.
but i like Pistol Malice- maybe brighton with their weird fascination with us should rename themselves that.
When we called ourselves the eagles back in the day , that was one of the main reasons they started the rivalry(because they are the seagulls)

That is exactly how mata was viewed last year, didn't Mata win Chelsea's player of the year twice and wasn't in the top 3 or 4 in terms of voting for player of the year after RVP and Suarez? Jose ruined Mata, I like for Mata to be much better once he settles in at United. As for Hazard I don't see him going anywhere but the Mata situation and the Hazard situation were eerily similar. People forget how good Mata was for Chelsea in the seasons prior to Jose's arrival. These guys weren't chopped liver they won the European cup without Jose.
