Barclays Premier League 13/14 Thread Part 'x'
First topic message reminder :
Superb by Mourinho. When are Liverpool at their most dangerous? The first thirty minutes of games; that is, generally, when they tear teams apart.
Not allowed to do that today, though, even against a very weakened Chelsea side. Liverpool didn't get a clear chance all game, and one costly, costly error gave Chelsea what they needed.
That and frustration, as Liverpool rapidly ran out of ideas and invention.
Back in City's hands now - another title won on goal difference?

Schurle has torn that full back a new one all game today.
Matic has also been class. Fair play to Norwich though, there battling very hard.

There's nothing I love more about the Premier League than seeing David Silva cruise around Upton Park every year. Result? Competitiveness? Not a care for that, watching good players beat my team is the passion

If we could kindly take Johnson off and put on a player who can pass we might get something here

What an effort by Luiz. Chelsea hit the woodwork again. That Norwich defense isn't bowing down yet.

Replays made that fair clearer, although I still think his mad swing impedes him. We'll just call the Turner body check on Ba the even-outer

Snodgrass should of scored, when those chances are presented. You score simple as that.

Indictment of your striking options, it really really is.

What's the point in winning when it won't do f all for the title.
Always love it when there's only ONE GOAL on SUPER SUNDAY.

Just like to note that Paolo conditions his teams in pre-season to come to the fore late on in the season.

Not sayin Poyet hasn't done well but just want to do more to enlighten the idiots who just say "PAOLO BAD" without having any knowledge of just about anything.

Paolo was pretty obviously out of his depth. Poyets confirmed his reputation as a bright managerial prospect.

It didnt go brilliantly, but don't buy the media narrative with him. Just because a manager and a club didnt mesh doesnt make someone bad.
Although why Poyet's had to get results from Chelsea, City and United to stay up I don't know. I have been impressed with him getting these results, but I don't see anything amazing in him yet.

Its obvious Gus has been getting tips from Sir Russel Slade in how to fire fight relegations
All joking a side, fair play to Gus, done a superb job with Sunderland, but its all about the next chapter now. Lets not forget, Paulo get Sunderland up, then it went jubblies up from there. Whilst i can't see Gus doing the same, he still needs to really kick on with Sunderland. He took Brighton as far as he could, and they now have someone (hopefully) who can take them to the next step.
