Re: If Khan Loses should he retire
The only way i see Khan losing personally, is if he get's into a 'fight' will collazo and get's caught, because I don't see him being let off al la Diaz. If he boxes he wins UD hands down, as in most of the fights he's involved in.
If he does lose, most would say he's young enough to learn and to move on, but imo if he doesn't win this then he should retire because he will never learn to use his head over heart and fulfil his true potential.

Not really - If the Wladimir-Vitali fantasy match up thread taught nothing else, it's that if you can string enough wins together, people will eventually forget that you've hit the deck more times than the village drunkard. Even if he loses, Khan can do a bum of the week rendition, and in two and a half years find himself near the top of the pile

Khan wont get fights. He is entertaining. I dont think there all that many fighters out there that would actually have more options than Khan. He is in the deepest division with the promoter who has the most fighters. Broner, Brook, Guerrero, Ortiz, Porter, Thurman, Garcia, Matthysse, Alexander, Maidana, Karass. Loads and loads of fights out there potentially.

Brook-Khan would still sell..
If Chisora-Fury sells then a roses battle would appeal...Khan has name recognition over here...

Yep Brook-Khan definitely sells out over here, providing promoters don't think Khan is too shop worn.TRUSSMAN66 wrote:Brook-Khan would still sell..

I'd worry about how many concussions his head can handle. Apart from that, he can't sell a modest venue stateside, but As long as American tv are willing to through money at him (1.25 million guaranteed for this fight), he can take it in.
He'll always have a biggish brook fight to fall back on too.

Or he could become president of the floyd mayweather fan club.... Can't open his mouth without mentioning mayweather lately. I've had £100 on colazzo to beat him in any round 7/2 come in colazzo bury him lol having said that I think khan will win

Another loss, might be the kick up the bum he needs to stop yapping about Mayweather and actually concentrate on his own career.

I have gotten the impression in the last couple of years that Khan has one eye on retirement and Mayweather represents his pension bonus.
It's a very tough fight for Khan tonight in my view and does have a make or break feel to it for both men. Of course both can continue after a loss but their marketability will have taken a significant drop.
