First topic message reminder :
Seems as though Joe Cole has been released by West Ham, might be a solid bargain for a lower league team if hes prepared to drop

Not sure what to think about these Kroos rumours, get the impression his agent is trying to force through a move for him using any team's name he can.

Little injury, although Arry has said he was about to come on until O'Neil got sent off. Hes done fine there, they're still interested in him anyway

Cleverley 11 goals in 30 odd games in the championship for watford wasn't it. That says everything, geezer couldn't hit a barn door now he's in the EPL.
I actually only just seen this mock-up pic, classic though.

I wasnt getting carried away with it, hes done well in the Prem when hes played though. They'd have loved him at Newcastle this season, would have been a reason to watch after Cabaye left. The only reason.

they already have a temperamental lazy but very talented player in ben arfa, and he's not been getting a game because of the former

Rav will drop deep to get the ball and has played deeper well too, so that wouldnt have been a worry. Pardew probably would have got on with him too.

So he's not getting a game because he's very talented?

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Window Thread
Liverpool look like they are going to be the big spenders this summer out of the Top 4. Who blames them. With Man City's transfer embargo and United being out of the Top 4 and Arsenal and Chelsea just all rumours so far, they are actually going out, spending their money on top talent and improving their squad. Lambert seems a cheap and different option, Emre Can is a top talent and £10m is a very reasonable price for such a talented player and (even though it is only rumours so far) it seems they have given up on Konoplayanka now and gone for, once again, a very reasonably priced £15.5m on Xherdan Shaqiri. Thatdoesn't seem like a bad £30m (roughly) at all to spend imo.
Plenty of rumours, not many deals. But I can't state that as a fact for sure. I believe there will be many private negotiations between clubs currently. But hoping some deals will fly through soon enough.

Though Chelsea will be spending in the region of 65-70m in the next week on Costa and Fabregas.

Liverpool will probably end up spending the least out of the big teams and can't say they've spent that well so far, Can seems to be getting over rated purely because he's signed despite the fact he's just not good enough. While Lambert is good, he's too old for a club pushing for the title, will hardly play and won't improve them at all.

Emre Can is decent at best, but he is being signed (in my opinion) to add depth to what was quite a thin squad last season. Liverpool with options on the bench will be a much more dangerous side than what we saw last season.

What doesn't help is that it costs ten times as much to get grade A coaching badges in this country as it does in Germany etc.

Can't see Costa and Mandzukic at Chelsea unless they are definitely offloading Torres.
I'd like him at Arsenal.

Yeah, decent signing on a free but he's nothing special. Won't forget him taunting us after he scored against us last year & him putting up pictures of himself mocking our defeat.

Yeah, said it a few days ago, that they had reached a verbal agreement with the player or something. Now the story has more legs today, another fine capture by Barcelona in this rebuilding phase, if they do sign him. I like the direction they are going.

Alvaro Morata (21 years old Real madrid forward, 9 goals this season) is looking for game time and should leave this summer. Arsenal could well be bidding for him.

Reus won;t move this summer, probably next when he actually has a RC.
The verbal agreement stuff originally from that Rafael Hernandez guy who is clearly briefed by someone to leak what they want, not what is true.
