Just a thought: If Harlequins play Saints in the final...

... who captains England?

Obviously academic now but nevertheless a very good question. Other than Webber in the Baabaas game last year SL has only ever picked captains from Quins and Saints (Robshaw, Wood, Hartley, Dowson).

I wouldn't be averse to seeing Launchbury captain the team soonish, but maybe it would be a bit early. Likewise Owen Farrell, if he can sort out his temper.

I'm never a big fan of fly-half captains. They've got enough to deal with as it is, and the majority of penalties are given in parts of the pitch that they tend to not get involved in.

6. Haskell/Johnson/Kvesic
7. Robshaw

12. Eastmond

15. Brown (hopefully)

Slightly short on obvious captaincy candidates if Robshaw wasn't around. Sounds ridiculous, but Haskell?

Marler would be entertaining.
