Pacquiao Signs Top Rank Deal
No chance of seeing Floyd vs Manny now, every chance of seeing another fight with Marquez though.

Fingers crossed Marquez doesn't sign for a fifth.
Could you imagine Arum going into meltdown trying to find an opponent for Manny which warrants PPV.
Would be a great sight and could even see them having to branch out to GBP

Would he have much choice but to chuck him with Provodkinov? That would be a fight I'd like to see.

How can anyone believe what Floyd says? How can you be sure Floyd would fight Manny if he left Top Rank? Why should Manny be dictated to by Mayweather? What excuse would Floyd come out with next? Don't blame Manny at all.

Calm down mate, I never said Floyd would fight him if he left Top Rank but this guarantees that fight doesn't happen.

Did I sound angry mate, sorry if it did. Actually I'm just repeating the same questions you see people asking over and over again on other forums.
You don't actually think the fight would have happened if Manny left Bob do you!
And that's directed at everyone, not you in particular.

I thinks fight would have been more possible if he had left Arum, yes.
not nailed on fact, but a god damn more likely.

Poochio was being controlled by Arum. No doubt he wanted the Kentucky Fried Floyd fight but between Mayweather wanting a drugs test and Arum knowing that Panny would lose...it was never gonna happen. No one wants this fight now anyway. The Pooch should just become dictator of the Philippines and be done with it

Schaefer refuses to work with Arum and Mayweather has never wanted the fight anyhow. Maybe in 2016 it will happen.....

I think you are possibly right there mobile. Just can't stand Floyd's control freakery, that's all.
If Floyd had asked for drug testing at the negotiation table, I'm certain there wouldn't have been any problems.
The Mayweather camp sullied the whole fight when everyone was on the edge of their seat in anticipation. When Roger made his accusations. And then to cap it off, it came out that Floyd had failed some tests and covered it up. Talk about pot and kettle. Great boxer but what a conman.

You will be lucky to have any hair left by the time Mayweather v Pacquiao happens Id say. Maybe they will have a Rocky/Apollo Creed moment in ten years time and settle the score with an impromptu session behind closed doors while reminiscing about the good old days when they were the "pound for pound" kings. Afterwards they can go for a beer and watch Bernard Hopkins win another world title against the 200th ranked light heavyweight.

Its a shame on them, on fans and the association not to see them fight, I would atleast love to see 2 fights involving the two and then decide the best pound to pound, at the moment both of them should not be listed among all time greats and should be considered as afraid of facing each other.
I guess secretly Manny and Floyd would have decided not to fight each other to save their individual legacy.
