3-0 down at half time to Birmingham. Gary Rowett is an incredible manager.

In fairness to Forest, everything that can go wrong for them has. They have, in all seriousness, been the better team but are, somehow, three down.

Wow - this is a seriously bad run Forest are on.
Wonder how long it'll be until the "Pearce Out" chants begin?

Bent on loan to Derby for rest of the season.
Whats the bet he scores a few, 8-10. Derby go up.
Signs permanent deal in summer.
Then scores winner against us at Vp next season.

Neil Adams resigned. No suprise, massively underachieving with a squad that should be bossing this league apart imo.

Olly - just caught up with Adams leaving Norwich although have read that he is to return to the club ''in an unspecified role'' in the summer.
All seems a bit odd to this outsider. You're only one win off a play off position. Was it the preceived pressure of being the number one that he couldn't hack? Let's have the story please.

Re: 2014/15 Championship Thread
It's strange really strange because our league form is picking up again recently, and although the cup defeat obviously not ideal, hardly the end of the world.
But since Phelan came in it was pretty obvious they had him on a thin rope. I'd expect he'll go back to the academy in the summer.
When it comes to hiring and firing managers our board haven't a clue. One good appointment since about 2003 in Lambert and even then they pretty much forced him out.
Hoping we go for a young guy like Robinson, and don't just go with phelan (he's not a manager!!).
I'm very confused right now, but hey not like we're away to top of the league this week. Oh no wait a minute....

Re: 2014/15 Championship Thread
Thanks for that, Olly.
If a near insider at the Carra like you finds it ''strange really strange'', then not much chance of me figuring it out! I do get the impression though that Adams' departure was more his decision and on his terms than your board's. If they had simply sacked him, wouldn't they have just wanted him out and gone for good rather than allowing him to return in some capacity in the summer?
I understand your concerns about Phelan and Warnock being linked with the job. However, particularly in view of comments you've posted in the past about him, I guess you'll be even less keen on Sherwood!

When I compare the squad of Norwich and Brighton it's massively different.
Karl Robinson wouldn't be a bad choice for the Norwich family. Tim Sherwood would be a good one

Tim Sherwood got upto some things when he played for Norwich that I can't probably post on here that means he really isn't very liked around here.

Who me? Never, you must be mistaking me for the other Arsenal fan that you know Blue...
Does seem a little strange if he's going to come back to the club in some other capacity later on in the year. Must be something else to the story.

Forest will be fine, they'll take their stuffing next week and then start to turn the corner
Seriously though, Think they need to stick with Pearce and see where they are at the end of the year. They can't sign any new players and have had a few injuries that have affected them.

They should stick with Pearce but they've been massively underachieving for years. Since they lost in the play offs under Davies it's just been a disaster. Signing Gary Gardner on loan must be a new low though.

Also Charlton sacking Bob Pieters is shameful. Bloke has done a very good job, yes there in a bad run of form but there not near the relegation zone where they should be. Talk about giving a manager more time! Really hope they slip into trouble, a club no one cares about.

Thinking back on it. Chris Powell never should of been sacked. Jose Riga did a good job. Charlton board are idiots.

I suppose it'll come down to whether the board expect to at least finish in the play-offs or not. Still plenty of time to turn things around, but it needs to begin soon before they lose too much ground. I hope they do as I really like Pearce.
Maybe with their FFP issues they'll settle for a top 10 finish.
