Post War World Class English Fighters?
First topic message reminder :
Was wondering if anyone could name any world class level post war English fighters, fighters who travelled to the States and beat all comers, the type of fighter that held longevity at the very top of any of the weight classes? A real undisputed p4p king. Trying my best but cant think of many?

How can there not be at least one world class fighter in every weight class at all times? Someone has to be the best in the world and by definition world class.

He didn't fight Pacman so he's out, Robinson didn't chase Burley so he's out, so in short by Shengs definition there has never been a world class boxer.

By definition world class would suggest that eligibility to participate in world title fights, ie anyone ranked in the top ten. OK the multitude of governing bodies has diluted this somewhat, but to claim that Hamed, Bruno, Honeyghan etc were not world class is patently stupid.
