Where does he play? Little bit of a jack of all trades. Wanted to keep him but the lawyers ignore the ones I want to go. Townsend as a left footed RW with Sigurdsson and Holtby able to play as right footed LW's gives me plenty of balance in attack.

It's a bit of a punt but following his return from injury he's played relatively well for Spurs (Europa League) and England (San Marino).

It was between him, Pablo Hernandez, Bryan Ruiz, Victor Moses, Wilfried Zaha and Adam Johnson. Or saved up another £1m and got Ben Arfa. Townsend is equal first at least there.

Hmm...

He was awful against our reserves in the COC. At present he looks like a less talented and less intelligent SWP. It wasn't between Victor Moses because he plays for me, I'd have gone for Zaha from that mix though. Warnocks good at making characters like him feel loved (see Taarabt)

Had been thinking about him as he looks good so far from the bits I have seen on Sky and then he had another decent performance over the weekend apparantly. Then when I saw the links in the media yesterday, I decided just to go for it before anyone else went for him, or his TM value increased.

Need a bit of a TM revaluation done though. Anderson Talisca scored again at the weekend too and looks amazing.

Yeah I'm expecting a decent increase on Calhanoglu soon enough, I'd expect him to be nearing 20m soon.

Calhanoglu should jump up a lot. He just looks like he is going to be out of this world.

Did you see the list of the Golden Boy nominations?

They are saying it's between him, Berardi and Sterling - personally Calhanoglu wins it hands down for me. Been much more impressive than the rest.

Yep posted the full list on here yesterday! My money is on Calhanoglu, he's consistently been immense for over a year now. My fave is still the freekick v Dortmund though, it was Cantona-esque how he celebrated.

Definitely worth it, I don't think I've seen him have a bad game this season. I'd have him along side Fabregas in my premier league team of the season so far.

It did cross my mind Nando, but I'm not building to do anything this season, I'm looking at next season.

Plus I am trying to bring the squad size down.

I decided to go for investing cash in one player and the worse case scenario is I can EOS lawyer him and get a big wedge (plus he could well go up). If I spread it around 2-3 players, I would have to EOS all of them to get the same cash.
